The Connecticut Citizen Action Group ("CCAG") has been busy protesting the decision of a private company, Avelo Airlines, to enter into a contract to conduct ICE deportation flights to help shore up the company's financials.

The activist group described Avelo as a "failing airline start-up" that "found a way to save their company by selling out to ICE kidnappers and inhumanly packing undocumented families and children into close quarters to traffic them out of the country."

CCAG included a "seating chart" meme that likened Avelo Airlines to the 'Brooks' -- a ship that was used in the slave trade in 1781. British abolitionists subsequently commissioned a drawing of how slaves were squeezed into the ship in order to raise awareness of the inhumanity of the slave trade. To this day it's easily one of the most recognizable symbols of the slave trade.

Apparently CCAG is unaware that most of the country -- 79% of all voters and 69% of democrat voters -- are in favor of deporting illegal aliens who commit crimes in America.

Nonetheless, CCAG went on to cheer Attorney General William "Lawfare" Tong for threatening to "revisit state support" to Avelo for making a business decision to enter into a contract, and State Rep. Maria Horn for blocking the renewal of Avelo’s tax break in the legislature’s finance package.

They also celebrated their democrat comrades in Hartford for passing HB 7212 out of committee -- that's the bill to "strengthen" the Trust Act which makes Connecticut a sanctuary state.

CCAG described HB 7212 as a "crucial bill" that would "limit the type of information disclosed to a federal immigration authority and to expand such limitation to all public agencies."

That bill seems to fly directly in the face of the news out of the White House earlier today in which Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Trump will sign an executive order later today designed to protect communities from criminal illegals. This will include publishing a list of state and local jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

About CCAG

CCAG has been "actively engaging the residents of Connecticut to alter the relations of power in order to build a more just society" for some 50 years by now.

CCAG originally started on the First Earth Day and was known as "Earth Action" but it has since morphed into a generic, run-of-the mill progressive organization with an equity agenda, hell bent on saving democracy and overcoming "our legacy of discrimination based upon race, gender, sexuality and ability."

And the group is suffering from a collective case of TDS, as evidenced from their latest communication with members which starts off like this:

"The MAGA regime continues its hostile takeover of our government, as red hats with “Trump 2028” printed on them begin to hit store shelves. ICE abductions continue to terrorize communities, and oligarchs continue to steal money from our schools and veterans and healthcare, destroying social security and targeting personal enemies."

CCAG is upset about the investigation into Act Blue.

They are backing the UConn students who want to ban ICE from campus.

They pushed the "Hands Off" and "50501" protests.

And now they want people to take to the streets for the communist holiday of May Day.
