The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters ("CTLCV"), which promotes left-wing views and policies aimed at combatting "climate change" and achieving "environmental justice," will hold its 2024 Environmental Awards Dinner at The Red Barn at Mitchell College in New London on November 23rd.

This year, the Environmental Public Service Award will go to Marissa Paslick Gillett, the Chairman of PURA, the same folks who keep approving electric rate hikes, a portion of which can be attributed to the dubious and communistic "Public Benefits" charge.

Three other people will be honored at the awards ceremony, including Amy Blaymore Paterson (Lifetime Achievement Award), Ulysses Hammond (Environmental Excellency Award) and John G. Harris (Community Impact Award).

Sponsorships for the awards will set donors back anywhere from $1,000 to $25,000, while an advertisement in the program and a couple tickets run $500. A single ticket for the event is $100.
