• If An Arab-American Democrat Mayor From Michigan Can Endorse Trump, Why Is It So Hard For Some In The CT GOP To Even Say His Name?

Amer Ghalib, the Democrat Mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan, the first city in the United States to elect an all-Muslim City Council and a Muslim mayor, has just endorsed Donald Trump for President.

Trump posted the stunning endorsement on Truth Social yesterday.

Ghalib said Trump is a "man of principles" and believes he is "the right choice for this critical time" even though he may not agree on all of Trump's positions.

Ghalib's endorsement follows a long line of endorsements from former democrats like Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., business leaders like Bill Ackman, musicians and rap stars like Waka Flocka Flame and Nicky Jam, Hollywood actors, athletes, sports icons, and many many more.

Heck, even the rank and file members of the Teamsters union are publicly backing Trump now.

But you know who is not publicly endorsing Trump?

A number of Republican candidates in Connecticut, even though in theory, the CT GOP endorsed Trump for President when 28 delegates voted for him at the Republican National Convention.

    Why shy away from Trump?

Well, these "republican" candidates think they have a better chance of winning in deep blue Connecticut if they ignore the "orange" elephant in the room, and pretend that national politics have nothing to do with local politics.

They won't admit whether they voted for him.

They will dodge and pivot at any mention of Donald Trump.

They fear that simply uttering the man's name will kill their political aspirations, not unlike a mention of Lord Voldemort in the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

They make back room deals with other "republican" candidates not to mention national politics at all in their campaigns so they can avoid any perceived "pitfalls" that might come from being associated with Trump.

They leave the word "republican" off of their campaign materials, hoping that voters in the middle might view them as moderate, and not associate them with the "MAGA extremists" or Trump.

They will blame Trump if they lose, and credit themselves if they win no matter what the outcome is on November 5th for Trump.

Perhaps they don't realize that declining to stand up for the Republican party’s values and its leadership--which includes Donald Trump--gives credibility to the opposition’s attacks and erodes support for the party, especially from the MAGA camp.

But honestly, if a democrat mayor in America's first all Muslim-run city can recognize that Donald Trump is the right candidate to lead our nation at this particular moment in time, when our country is teetering on the edge of disaster, why can't more of Connecticut's "republican" candidates recognize it, too?

And instead of giving credibility to the attacks, they could instead debunk the attacks with facts about Trump's positions, while at the same time promoting traditional Republican principles.

You would think by now that the Connecticut RINO party would realize that there is no place in this state for a bunch of Democrat-lites. Connecticut Conservatives want what they want, not what the fools in charge of the RINO party want.

When is the Republican Party in CT gonna grow a pair! The goal seems to be to accept defeat gracefully... that's not a goal, the Goal is to win at all costs! Challenging the eminent power of the Dems cannot be done with a bunch of pacifists!
