Independent Journalist and Connecticut Centinal columnist Kimberly Wigglesworth logged into X today, only to find out that her account had been suspended for violating rules against authenticity.

The problems for Wigglesworth began over the weekend, after she attended and reported on a democrat campaign event that featured Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Congresswoman Jahana Hayes and others.

She published three articles in the Centinal after attending the event:

After the articles started gaining traction, Wigglesworth received her first ever hate mail writing under her own name.

She responded to the attack, and promised to keep telling the truth.

Then Wigglesworth got reported and banned from X (formerly Twitter) for sharing her own first-hand reporting (including videos) that exposed voter intimidation, misuse of public funds, and political interference by nonprofits in Waterbury, Connecticut.

"These tactics silence local journalists and undermine the public’s right to know," wrote Wigglesworth in a letter addressed to Vice President JD Vance on her YouTube account, which, fortunately, is still active.

"I am asking for a small favor — an opportunity to ask a question to the Press Secretary on this issue," she wrote. "What is the administration doing to address voter intimidation, voter fraud, and the misuse of public funds by politically connected organizations that retaliate against independent journalists?"

And she'd also like to have her X account restored, but that's for Elon and X to correct.
