How is it possible for Connecticut (or any state) to elect someone who is anti-American? One would think the electorate, who is benefiting mightily from the freedoms created by American values, would avoid electing someone who demonstrates a contempt for those same values.

The purpose of this article is to educate and influence to enhance wisdom of the electorate. I help voters reevaluate their voting priorities.

What is Anti-American?

According to one dictionary definition, being anti-American means, being opposed or hostile to the United States of America, its people, its principles, or its policies.

The anti-American takes issue with ideas and/or actions which are fundamental to what it means to be an American. Being critical about methods or policies alone does not meet the definition. There must be a fundamental and irreconcilable antagonism of those principles that define America.

Does Senator Murphy have fundamental and irreconcilable antagonism for American values and principles? Please judge and then reevaluate your voting decisions. Please forward to those who can also reevaluate.

Alignment with Communism

Senator Murphy has a strong alliance with The Working Families Party. They have endorsed his candidacies for years. This is a progressive political organization. Do they align with Communist principles? Here’s a post on the Working Families Party website:

“CT Working Families is an independent progressive political organization fighting to reduce inequality and striving to achieve a multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-faith, egalitarian society.” (Working Families Party Staff)

Their fancy wording hides the alignment with Communist principles. Communism is a form of government most closely associated with the ideas of Karl Marx as outlined in The Communist Manifesto. Communism is based on the goal of eliminating socioeconomic struggles by creating a classless society (egalitarian society) in which everyone shares the benefits (reduce inequality) of labor. Communism uses the power of government to reduce inequality. Our American Constitution limits the government.

Our American values and principles are about equal rights not equity. Reducing inequality with government intervention is in direct opposition to the American principle of protecting personal property rights.

Communists believe in equality of outcomes for everyone. Communists want major parts of the economy (such as healthcare) to be controlled by the government. Communists are opposed to Capitalism and private property ownership. American embraces capitalism and private property.

Senator Murphy was endorsed by the Working Families Party ahead of the 2024 election. Does his association with an organization that embraces principles consistent with Communism make him anti-American?

Alignment with DEI

If Senator Murphy’s endorsement by The Working Families Party is not enough to cause concern, perhaps one can be persuaded to reevaluate their vote when they hear about his endorsement by Moveon.org. This is their website description:

“MoveOn members are committed to an inclusive and progressive future. We envision a world marked by equality, sustainability, justice, and love.” -- Moveon.org

They claim to be a force for social justice. When they write they want “our country to work for all of us” it strongly implies it doesn’t work for some. This implies the need for creating a classless society through government policy (Communism). One needs to read and interpret between the lines to see the truth. They make the wording sound so good. But pull back the cover and there is a stench of Communism and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion or DEI. Moveon.org enthusiastically supports DEI.

DEI is an acronym for the words Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. These words and their meanings have been hijacked by the political left. DEI is a direct attack on American values and is therefore anti-American.

Diversity, according to dictionary definition, is a state of being different. The left’s definition of diversity means some groups in society are victims and other groups are the victimizers. DEI celebrates the differences between people, usually race, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, and even immigration status. America celebrates the unity between people. The Latin phrase E pluribus unum translates to "Out of many, one" or "One from many," It’s a traditional motto of the United States. It appears on the Great Seal of the United States and on our coins.

Equity is about equal outcomes. Equality is about equal opportunity. American values are about equal opportunity (treating everyone equally under the law). Equity is about treating victims differently to create equal outcomes.

Inclusion claims that some have been purposely excluded from opportunities because of their race. Inclusion in DEI means people must be rewarded because of their gender, race, sexual orientation or appearance instead of their skills, knowledge, and achievements. It encourages government dependency to correct the perceived unequal treatment.

Senator Murphy is endorsed by Moveon.org. Does this make him anti-American? He certainly can’t be anti-Communist if he is endorsed by these two Communist consistent organizations. If it quacks like a duck…

Open Border

Is promoting an open US border anti-American? Senator Murphy must want an open border because he didn’t object when 10 million or so entered through both the southern and northern border in the Biden administration.

What if he knew that of the ~10 million illegals crossing that there was 375 on the government’s terrorist watch list? What if Senator Murphy knew tens of thousands of illegals were from countries that could present national security risks? (U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, 2024) What if he knew there was a 7,000% spike in Chinese nationals crossing the border and most were men of military age? If he knew all this and said nothing (or even supported the invasion) would that make him anti-American?

The recent conflict between the Israel and Iran lead to the American military to obliterate the Iranian nuclear program. Did Senator Murphy know that hundreds of Iranian nationals were released into the US by the Biden Administration from 2021 – 2024. Does Senator Murphy worry that some of them may participate in terror as a response? If he knew all this and said nothing (or even supported the invasion) would that make him anti-American?

If Senator Murphy were not anti-American, why would he say he wants to put immigrants’ rights ahead of citizens’ rights? Are illegal immigrants’ rights more important than citizen’s rights? Are they even on the same level? In his own words, here is a quote from Senator Murphy from March of 2024:

"… the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country." – Senator Chris Murphy

Summary:

Senator Murphy purposely associates with organizations that promote Communism and Marxism. These organizations clearly want to undermine American values. Does that mean Senator Murphy also wants to undermine American values?

An anti-American is vehemently opposed or hostile to the United States of America, its people, its principles, or its policies. These organizations that support Murphy abhor America and its values and want them rejected. By association Senator Murphy is fundamentally anti-American. If one loves America and voted for Senator Murphy, does this data help to reevaluate? Is it appropriate to forward this to others?
