Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont signed onto a statement from Democrat Governors regarding President Trump's decision to use California's National Guard to help bring the violent Los Angeles riots under control.
The governors are calling it Trump's attempt to "militarize California" and they view it as an "alarming abuse of power."
Every single Democratic Governor agrees:

Similarly the unions are reacting to the riots as well, with SEIU locals calling for an emergency action today at 11:30am at the state Capitol in Hartford to demand the release of SEIU California President David Huerta who was taken into federal custody on Friday for obstructing ICE.
The Connecticut Citizens Action Group and the Connecticut Democratic Socialists of America are joining the SEIU in demanding:
Indivisible and the 50501 coalition are calling for a 1pm anti-ICE protest in Hartford today.
Local Indivisible groups are also promoting "ICE watch groups" to help "protect" illegals from ICE raids.
And the folks at BLM 860 in Hartford are not only joining the calls for protests, but they seem to be encouraging the "peaceful" kind of protest that might "force" ICE to have to "barricade themselves" into their building.
Or worse, that ICE should be "melted" -- like with fire? Is that what "MLT ICE" means?
But it's all good as far as BLM is concerned... because "no one died yet" in those violent LA riots... or should we say "insurrection" because that's really what it is.
