The Norwalk Republican Town Committee (RTC) expressed a tremendous amount of gratitude and appreciation to their friends at American Legion Post #12 yesterday.

The American Legion Post #12 had kindly stepped in when the RTC needed a space to conduct meetings after temporarily losing access to their traditional meeting place.

Norwalk RTC member Martin Tagliaferro presented a donation to thank the American Legion for being so welcoming in their time of need.

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.

It is the nation's largest veteran service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to fellow service members and veterans.
