Avi Kaner, the co-owner of Morton Williams Supermarkets, has endorsed Dr. Michael Goldstein to be the Republican nominee to take on Jim Himes.
A respected entrepreneur and Westport resident, Mr. Kaner also has political skills and served as the Second Selectman of Westport and used his financial ability (MBA from Columbia) as Chairman of the Board of Finance, overseeing the town’s pension system.
Mr. Kaner is a philanthropist and has worked to bring fresh water and other utilities to the poor in Africa. He has been active in peace efforts in the Middle East with the Abraham Accords.
Isn't Jim Himes already cutting through red tape, solving the health care crisis, reducing inflation through sensible energy policy and standing up to antisemitism and hate?
Oh wait, the doctor is just going to do it better.
