More than a hundred Patriots and freedom loving Americans showed up for a 47-mile car parade through Brewster, NY, and the surrounding towns on Saturday, July 27th.
What an amazing sight to see!
We counted at least 75 cars decorated with hundreds of flags -- the US flag, Make America Great Again, Women for Trump, Take America Back, Trump 2024, and so on. The love of our country was on full display!
The event included a rousing speech from Chris Wright (pictured below).
Wright was born in Georgia and raised in Maryland with a deep sense of patriotism, thanks to his father, a US Army veteran. Wright is a small business owner and also serves as the head of the Conservative Republican Alliance of New York.
He said that as the son of an Army Major, he got to witness things that most people didn't while living on an Army base in Germany as a little boy, like getting to watch the Berlin Wall fall first-hand.
"I know the blessings that God gave me," said Wright. "I got to witness freedom in another country before I could even spell the word. So I saw the beauty of it and when I got older, it touched me in the heart."
"Patriotism has always been engraved in me," continued Wright who said that God put him in New York to fight for freedom and patriotism for everyone, whether they are white, black, Hispanic, gay or straight.
"It's about America first," he said.
There wasn't a dry eye to be found when Wright recounted how much his father, who passed away a year ago, would have loved to have been with him in the parking lot to encourage everyone to stand up and fight.
We also heard from Republican candidate for New York State Assembly in District 95, Michael Capalbo, and from US Army veteran Andres Gil who spoke about his lifetime of public service in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa, and about the importance of protecting our elections.
The crowd frequently broke out into cheers of "Trump Trump Trump" before cars started to line up for the drive.
The looks on people's faces were priceless as the parade rolled through town after town.
We saw people excitedly pumping their fists, cheering "Fight Fight Fight" and shouting "Make America Great Again" as we passed.
You could feel the energy and enthusiasm for Trump everywhere, it was incredible!
We can't wait for Trump to get back into office!!!
