What a mess we have in Connecticut!
Election results are not 100% in yet, and there are problems with vote counts in Torrington and Brooklyn.
There were "printing errors" and other "mistakes" in various towns.
Like in Greenwich, where a printing alignment error meant ballots had to be hand counted because they didn't work with the machines.
In North Stonington, over 1,100 voters were incorrectly informed they didn't need to sign their ballots and had to return to the registrar to correct the mistake. It's unclear if all of the votes from impacted voters were corrected and counted.
A poll worker from Hebron told us they ran out of envelopes to put ballots into after just a day and a half of early voting, so they ended up using envelopes left over from the August primary instead.
The label system reportedly wasn't working in Woodstock during early voting.
Then there was a "clerical error" in Stamford's election day reporting data in one race.
Thousands of voters registered and voted on the same day, election day, impacting races across the state.
Of course, the state lacks basic voter integrity measures like requiring photo ID to vote, so you can roll into the polling station and vote using a grocery store bonus card or a theater membership card or even a piece of junk mail.
Do you think it's just a coincidence Kamala won states that did not require photo voter ID?
And did you see in Bridgeport a councilman was accused of registering illegals to vote?
It sure makes you wonder how many of the state's at least 117,000 illegals might have voted, doesn't it?
Which reminds us that Wanda the Ballot Stuffer got a new side hustle arranging lots of marriages for non-citizens in New Haven. But a girl's gotta make a living, right?
Speaking of New Haven, Mayor Justin Elicker promised he won't cooperate with the Trump Administration because New Haven is a "sanctuary city".
In fact, Attorney General William Tong promised that the whole state of Connecticut would not cooperate with Trump's new border czar, Tom Homan, and the plans to deport illegal immigrants en masse.
But Tong did find time to celebrate the roll-out of a new abortion hotline in conjunction with a radical progressive pro-abortion group.
Teachers are melting down, like this gym teacher from Trumbull who said "f*ck this stupid country" and promised he has "no allegiance" to America. He said "this is war" leaving conservative parents to wonder if he means war against them and their children. But the school decided to do NOTHING at all, not even a wellness check to see if the teacher is mentally fit to be in the classroom after his meltdown on social media.
He's far from the only person in the state to have a meltdown over Trump's epic win.
Some sore losers are taking out their TDS on innocent business owners whose only crime was showing support for MAGA, like this unhinged guy from Terryville, CT, who wants to destroy a small business that has been in the community for the last 25 years. Just because the owner voted for Trump. Hopefully those of you in the 'hood will do your part to support this business.
Even though Trump didn't win in Connecticut, the state came in 5th among states with the largest shift toward Trump compared with 2020.
The margin shifted toward Trump in the vast majority of Connecticut towns, too. The red wave did roll through Connecticut. It just was not big enough to change the outcome, at least not yet.
Knocking down the remaining "blue wall" in New England looks to be the next big republican challenge.
And the good news is that local grassroots activists are already coming together as we speak (including us) so we can capitalize on this momentum, and work together on turning Connecticut red.
