Anti-Semitism On Display At Pro-Palestine Rally In New Haven

An activist wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh climbed a menorah in New Haven yesterday, and desecrated the religious symbol by planting a Palestinian flag among the branches of the candelabrum.

You could hear pro-Palestine protesters loudly chanting in the background.

As soon as the activist planted the Palestinian flag, several protestors raced over to try to stop the stunt. The protestors did not appear to be worried about desecrating the menorah, instead they seemed more concerned about the optics of the stunt.

"Take it down. Take it down. It looks bad for us," the protestors shouted.

“It’s just anti Zionism!”
