This is an update to my article from October 4, 2024: Epic Destruction In Western North Carolina: Chimney Rock And A Den Of Thieves Collide.
It seems there is something very nefarious going on in Western North Carolina. First off, there are thousands in Western NC and Eastern TN, still completely devastated and without basic necessities. They have lost their homes, their cars, their jobs. Some are living in tents and trailers without running water and limited heat and bathroom resources. It is a disgrace to hear Joe Biden in Africa announcing foreign aid assistance while leaving Americans without. There are many stories out there in small news outlets, also highlighted recently on MSM Fox News, which has sent reporters down there to bring back the real story.
Unfortunately, the real story is FEMA is not doing near enough. Our country is not doing what needs to be done to help these people. The red tape of FEMA and disaster and other government aid is not producing results. The government is broken for those who need it most. Luckily, there are many American private non profits and kind neighbors helping where they can. But there are so many needy and their stories need to be told.
On another important follow up to the article from October, specifically, in the area of Chimney Rock, NC, something is very wrong. There was a group of about a dozen or so coal miners that cleared the hurricane and flood debris and built a road to reconnect Bat Cave and Chimney Rock so vital supplies could get to the residents. It was alleged and it seems to have been confirmed by multiple reports that FEMA government officials put up a gate to block the new access road and the aid from getting through. Area residents tore it down, now FEMA is allocating 280K to rebuild this gate and get cameras etc., and threaten any trespassers. They are trying to buy the people's land for pennies on the dollar and force the people off their land by blocking access and aid. Apparently there is something valuable here under all the debris. It is said to be rich with minerals the government corrupt operatives want. One has to wonder what all this destruction and the subsequent lack of services meant to clear out the devastated and steal their property is really about?
In my research, I cite these sources that are writing about what is really happening down in the Bat Cave, Chimney Rock area for you to further review on your own. I truly don’t believe this is conspiracy, but rather a more elaborate effort for those behind the land grab to make you think it is not true. Whether there is truth to the rumors or not, one thing is for certain, FEMA is not doing the job that taxpayers deserve when disaster strikes. There are too many reports of despair and lack of assistance from the government that we all contribute to in order to help our fellow citizens when they need disaster assistance. Federal funds should not be directed out of this country when our own are suffering.

There are so many stories out there about WNC. Governor Cooper said in a recent interview that it would be best if the people in Chimney Rock did not rebuild. Why is that, Cooper? If they own the land, why can’t they rebuild?

The devastation is not conspiracy. There is video evidence and reports everywhere. How is it that this country leaves people like this? Many are not able to get any help at all and have been literally left on the street, with property that is gone or in a pile of rubble, living in a cleared spot in tents. This is unconscionable and needs to be reported on more prominently.
It seems most of the aid is coming not from FEMA and our government but from the many generous and good hearted Americans and volunteer non-profit agencies. That cannot be overlooked, but neither can the elitist disgust coming from Washington DC and this disgrace of an Administration under Joe Biden that runs it!
And on that note, a Connecticut foundation run by Kate Prokop is hosting a TOOL drive for Yancey, Avery and Mitchell Counties in North Carolina. Two 53’ box trailers are scheduled to leave Connecticut the last week of December for North Carolina. You can help fill the trucks and support the more than 1,500 families still without homes in these counties.
