Office of Governor Ned Lamont, you bragged about how great it is for the citizens of your state. Is it still good for us Ned??? Hopefully you read this between chopping the wetlands trees down. How’s the re-planting going Ned Lamont? How environmentally conscious of you. At least you’re doing the right thing by reversing what you did and re-planting.
Now you need to reverse what you have done with the Public Benefit charge for your failed - “leave the lights on even if they don’t pay” policy and your “zero carbon energy” costs. People do not want it if it means going into debt. You and the Democrat majority led CT General Assembly need to wake up and face reality. Your green pipe dreams are unaffordable to the citizens of CT. YOU are putting your own citizens into debt. YOU ARE.
This portion of the bill should be paid LAST. After food, after mortgage, after your car and gas and everything you need to survive.
We can survive BETTER without these investments right now.
