Trump supporters gathered for a rally in Mystic, CT, on Saturday but were met by a number of unwelcome guests, including a democrat dressed in a KKK outfit who claimed he was a Trump supporter, and another man who held up a small sign that said "F*ck Trump" while he screamed obscenities at passersby.
The man in the white hood, 35-year-old Michael Picard, is not at all a Trump supporter, and instead is a known troll who goes by the name "Professional Douche" on Youtube.
He seems to have ample free time on his hands, and delights in trolling conservative politicians and their supporters.
In a phone interview on Sunday, Picard said, “my point there was to remind everybody that Trump was endorsed by the KKK."
And also to taint the rally, of course.
As soon as Picard arrived in his hooded get-up, the Trump supporters knew it was a set-up, and outed him, along with his handler.
Of course that didn't stop the fake news headline from spreading on X anyway.
By the way, Picard previously attempted to run into CPAC 2024 dressed in his KKK costume, but was stopped before he could pull off the stunt.
