Get In The Fight state summits are designed provide attendees with the knowledge and tools to combat child exploitation and trafficking.
The Connecticut "Get In The Fight" state summit is scheduled for October 4th and 5th in Middletown, CT, featuring moderator Lara Logan, special remarks by General Mike Flynn, and a panel of speakers, including Author of I Am Silent No More Lynz Piper-Loomis, BRIDE Ministries Executive Director Daniel Duval, Newington Police Officer Richard Petoskey, criminal justice expert Jarrod Sadulsk, and Tina Baz, the Human Trafficking Program Director and Legislative Liaison for ARC – The Association for the Recovery of Children.
Attendees are offered a comprehensive two-day event with education by experts and leaders in the fight against child exploitation and trafficking in Connecticut and across the country.
The Friday summit panel discussion offers a deep dive into the crisis of child trafficking, why and where it exists, and steps you can take to help protect children and get involved in your community.
A full day of training on Saturday follows with multiple programs to choose from for individuals, parents and caregivers, first responders, business owners and employees, healthcare and hospitality professionals, and survivors and overcomers. The sessions are interactive, and time is allocated for your questions.
