Nutmeggers and Americans outside of Connecticut, though I am sad for the state of affairs in this state, I am joyful for the victory of the United States that was achieved by the Trump presidential win on November 5th, 2024. This is a victory for the United States Constitution! A victory that will assure the future of this great nation, whether the woke and woefully blue liberal states will work to oppose or embrace it remains to be seen. The insane opposition of democratic leaders in political positions of power in this state is un-productive and seeks to challenge the much needed unity this country needs as a whole in order to properly face and rectify the many needed challenges imperative to the continued existential existence and future prosperity for all Americans.
Being sore losers does nothing to secure any sort of ideal of working toward a better future for the residents that our leaders took oaths to represent, whether led by a federal government of majority Democrats or majority Republicans, is irrelevant to the greater goal of Leadership of, by and for the people of Connecticut.
When will the leaders in power in the State of Connecticut concede that our state would be better of by being willing to have a place at the table, than by leading an orchestrated challenge motivated by revenge and contention toward the opposing party for winning the popular vote of this nation? Working together and unifying to negotiate and present results that work for residents of Connecticut would be the result of an attitude of working together for common goals that benefit real people, instead of concentrating on vitriol that benefits not one resident who lives here.
Leadership in CT is based on one-party rule and uni-party concession by weak Republicans that benefits no one and constitutes a continuum of more of the same failed policies that continue to benefit no one and reduce everyone’s quality of life in this state.
Real political leaders work with those in power, to make a means to an end. They lead by example to get what the people of their state need to exist and improve the quality of life they live. Defiant leaders are not leaders at all; they are political operatives that seek to provide nothing through means of representation of the people they were elected to serve. They serve themselves and the power brokers that funded them. When will the populous of Connecticut wake up and stop voting for those who merely spoon feed their constituent’s the food of their own destruction?
Recent commentary and opinions that seek to foment a sedition attitude to the incoming administration of Donald Trump, and describing it in a doomsday scenario does little to give any realistic credence to the integrity of the media in Connecticut. In fact it is laughable to any thinking Connecticut resident. The fact that the Republican ticket didn’t win here is also something that is questionable at best. The fact that the Republican ticket did as well as it did should be the reddest of red flags to the powers that be in this Democrat run state that the days of their tyrannical rule may indeed be numbered and soon to be ended.
Time to give an ear to the voice of the people would be my advice to our feckless political leaders in Connecticut.
