A rather disturbing, but common theme at the "No Kings" protests in Connecticut included a call for violence against President Donald Trump -- specifically the threat to "86-47" -- a phrase scrawled on posters, chanted by activists and even posted on social media by democrats who think of themselves as virtuous and morally superior for wanting Trump to be "eliminated" from the menu.
A long list of Connecticut Democrats promoted, joined and even spoke at "No Kings" protests where "86-47" signs were present, including: Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz; Senator Richard Blumenthal; US Rep. John Larson; US Rep. Jim Himes; State Senators Matt Lesser, Ceci Maher, Julie Kushner, MD Rahman, and Sujata Wilcox; State Reps. Matt Blumenthal, Geraldo Reyes, Nick Menapace, Anthony Nolan, Kaitlyn Shake, Sara Keitt, and Anne Hughes -- this is not an exhaustive list, by the way.
The Connecticut House Dems, and a long list of Democrat Town Committees (DTCs) promoted "No Kings," including, for example: Clinton, Coventry, East Granby (which thanked the local media for printing the protest schedule), East Lyme, Fairfield, Greenwich, Groton, Marlboro, Salem, Wallingford, Waterford, Windham, and West Hartford.
The Simsbury Democrats actually posted an "8647" threat on social media, just to make their feelings clear on the matter.
Elected officials shared pictures of protestors holding "86 47" signs.
Like State Representative Anthony Nolan, for instance.
The Torrington democrat candidate for mayor, Stephen Ivain, apparently loved this one lady's "AT6 4T7" poster so much that he posed for a cozy a picture with her.
The Democrat Town Committee must have loved the sentiment, and shared her picture, too.
Gee, how thoughtful.
The Trumbull democrats took it up a notch.
They had a guy leading the whole line-up of protesters in an "86-47" chant -- and the kicker is you can hear a woman on the video saying "this is great!"

Plenty of Trumbull Democrats joined in the "No Kings" fun and decided to flip the bird to teenage conservative Chris Pettinella who went by to check out the democrat-advertised event.
Former Trumbull Democratic Board of Finance member Michael Barker told Pettinella to “go home and fix his acne,” then proceeded to push the teenager, once with his hand, and again with his whole body. If that wasn’t enough, Barker followed Pettinella as he left, singing and trying to antagonize him. Other protesters smacked Pettinella in the head with their signs as he walked down the sidewalk.
Chairmen and Councilman Ashley Gaudiano stood by as Barker made rude comments and repeatedly touched Pettinella, but did nothing to stop the harassment. None of the other elected officials in attendance, including State Sen. Sujata Wilcox, State Rep. Sara Keitt, and Julia McNamee, bothered to help the teenager, either.
The Durham Democrats shared a lovely "8647" poster next to a woman identified on social media as Christine Geraci, who has served on the Board of Education.
A woman named Kristin Souza who lists the "Middletown DTC" in her X bio, came to the defense of the Durham Democrats "8647" post by stating "linguistic facts" about the term that is widely known to be a threat.
The Wallingford DTC loved the "86 47" signs so much, they posted several photos.
One of the gals sporting an "86 47" sign appears to be part of Wallingford democrat party leadership, DTC Vice Chair Fran LaFrance-Proscino, who admits that "activism" is an "integral part" of her identity.
Democrats were sporting "86 47" signs all across Connecticut for "No Kings"...
Here are a couple dozen other examples of "84 67" Club Members, and one "honorable mention" that features a picture of Trump as "Jabba the Hut" from Star Wars as he's getting strangled to death by Princess Leia.
One guy went so far as to mount his "86 47" sign on a pitchfork, while another decorated the back of his pick-up truck.
Of course, the "No Kings" protest was far from the first time we've seen Connecticut democrats flashing the "86-47" sign.
They have been flashing these signs at many of the protests since Trump took office, like at the "Hands Off" protest from Stamford, for instance.
Plus, who can forget that time when James Comey, who lived in Westport for a while, posted an "86 47" threat on Instagram last month.
Then he played dumb about the "cool shell formation" on national television and gaslight Americans over the obvious threat.
Then there's that time in April 2025 when Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro posted a picture of herself next to a gal in a pink pussy hat who was holding an "86-47."
Rosa quickly deleted the post after getting blasted on social media.
Despite the dozens of examples of the "86-47" threat being used all across the state, none of the democrats have, at least to the best of our knowledge, denounced usage of that threat, or even suggested that their followers tone down the calls for Trump to meet an untimely end.
Can you imagine the outrage if throngs of conservatives turned up to protest Barack Obama's Forum in Hartford earlier this week, all sporting a bunch of signs saying "86 Obama" -- the guy whom liberals wanted to anoint as King? What do you think would have happened? And how do you think the media would have responded?
