Connecticut GOP Chairman Ben Proto is calling for the democrat candidate in Danbury, Ken Gucker, to step down after a controversial post on social media.

Proto said, "This is unacceptable clearly he supports the attempt to assassinate President Trump."

Ken Gucker is a former CT State Rep and now a candidate for the 138th District in Danbury.

He is a long time member of the Danbury Democratic Town Committee, and served as Vice-Chairman for three terms.  In 2018 Ken was elected as the State Rep for the 138th Legislative District, and was re-elected in 2020.
