• CT K-HIVE: Here's What We Learned On The "Connecticut Women For Harris" Zoom Call Last Week...

"Connecticut Women for Harris" relies on a combination of identity politics and emotional ploys to motivate the base... and paid influencers, when all else fails.

When we started Greenwich Patriots, some of our trolls thought it would be funny to sign us up to receive emails from a bunch of Democrat, socialist and communist organizations operating in Connecticut.

We've been using the emails to gather competitive intelligence. And from time to time we join events, like the recent Connecticut Women for Harris zoom meeting on July 31st, just to understand their messaging.

The zoom featured elected female politicians from Connecticut, a little star power from TV-land, representation from Kamala's campaign, and a few other Connecticut democrats.

The Connecticut Dems claimed more than 2,000 people joined the call to support the "historic" campaign for "first woman of color President" but we could only see the speakers on the call, not the participants.

Jahana Hayes started things off by telling everyone how to feel that night -- to feel good because they were part of a very special and unique sisterhood of Kamala supporters -- affectionately known as "the K-HIVE."

Hayes reiterated the "first woman president" Democrat talking point and drummed up everyone's emotions when she said: "And one day, I will be able to say, I was a part of a group of women from Connecticut that helped elect the first woman to be president."

She made no mention of Kamala's policies or accomplishments while serving as Vice-President... probably because there was nothing worth mentioning.

But she did tell participants they could belong to a group of women that would make history, the K-HIVE, so why get caught up on the little stuff, like Kamala's lack of accomplishments, when something bigger is at stake?

Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz recalled how she'd been asking friends "where they were" when they first learned about the historic moment when "President Biden had taken that courageous step... and had taken that second step to pass the torch to Kamala."

She assured everyone that Kamala was qualified, so there's no need to think about her record. Just trust Bysiewicz, and don't question why elites selected Kamala instead of allowing democracy to work by having Democrats vote on Biden's replacement.

The smooth talking, purple-haired Congresswoman from New Haven, Rosa DeLauro, delivered a very heartfelt pitch for her dear friend Kamala, whom DeLauro described as a "successful" politician and Vice President. She implied that America would only succeed with a woman like Kamala in charge, a woman who has been on a crusade to promote equity.

By the way, DeLauro also described New Haven communist Alfred L. Marder as a "successful" community leader when she paid tribute to him in the U.S. Congressional Record on his 90th birthday. Marder was on a crusade to promote communism pretty much his entire life, starting as an organizer for the Young Communist League at age 16, according to the communist newspaper, People's World.

It wouldn't be a Democrat event without star power since Dems know people will blindly follow the stars.

Shonda Rhimes, the television writer and producer behind Grey's Anatomy, assured everyone that Kamala really cares about regular, everyday people.

Comedian and Full Frontal host Samantha Bee thinks "there are a million reasons why" Trump "cannot and should not be the president"... and why her friend Kamala should be.

But the only thing she really articulated was that Kamala would protect abortion and bodily autonomy... which is ironic considering Bee's comments on the covid vaccine mandates issued by the Biden-Harris Administration that impacted 100 million Americans.

Stephanie Thomas played the 'intersectional card' when she reminded folks she's the first black female secretary of the state in Connecticut, and shared her dream about all of the "good it will do our world to elect the first woman of color as president of these United States of America."

Again, there was no mention of Kamala's qualifications other than her gender and skin color.

If you happen to oppose Kamala because she favors bad policies (e.g., destroying private health insurance, banning fracking, allowing open borders), then Dems will call you a sexist and a racist.

The questions at the end of the zoom seemed like they were intentionally chosen to demonstrate that rank and file Dems got the message -- "everyone must support Harris ... it's time to make history ... elect the first woman of color as President."

We're curious to know how many meeting participants might get paid as influencers for the campaign or even paid to fill seats for Kamala at the DNC?

Because if there was real momentum behind Kamala's campaign and real grassroots support, she wouldn't need to be paying influencers.

But after reading through all of the negative comments under the CT Dems post about the K-HIVE zoom call, perhaps paying influencers looks like a good investment for Democrats?

Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz: She assured everyone that Kamala was qualified.

She in fact is not qualified for the office of the President. Kamala is not a natural born citizen. Neither parent was a U S citizen when she was born.
