Connecticut State Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff has lost his mind over the absolutely massive Trump rally inside and outside Madison Square Garden in New York City yesterday.
How far off the deep end has he gone?
Well, he described the rally as a "fascist rally starring Hitler 2.0" and likened the choice between Trump and Kamala as the choice between "democracy vs. dictatorship" and "freedom vs. fascism" and included a video mash-up of Hitler and Trump footage with a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sounds of Silence" playing in the background.
Duff also posted or reposted at least 25 tweets about the MSG Trump rally, most of them pretty wild, including another Trump + Hitler mash-up.
This time the video showed images of Hitler with Trump quotes mixed up and strung together, read by a Hitler-sounding voice while showing images of Hitler on the screen.
He even forwarded a tweet that compared senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller to Hitler.
Before that, Duff shared a screen shot from the Daily News with the headline "Racist Rally" and then added his own two cents: "It’s 1939 again at Madison Square Garden. Same Sh*t Different Dictator."
He shared a wild conspiracy theory that suggested Trump would "screw around with the Electoral College votes so that the House itself votes on the president" in a Contingent Election.
He mocked Trump supporters as ignorant, and wondered how many rally goers have "actually cracked open a book or seemed interested in school."
He shared a screenshot of left-wing aggregator Drudge Report with a list of negative headlines about the rally, and a photo of the DNC projecting the image "Trump Praised Hitler" onto the side of the Garden during the rally.
He even shared a tweet of Hitler's motorcade at the moment when Trump's motorcade arrived for the rally.
Republican Martin Tagliaferro, who is challenging Duff for the State Senate seat, was taken aback by Duff's shocking, inflammatory rhetoric.
"This is Sen. Duff's version of 'standing up for you.' From our Senator who openly despises 40% of his own constituents. Spewing hate is all he has to sell," said Tagliaferro. "Hate is a choice. It is the backbone of prejudice, bigotry, racism and ignorance. It is a path I've chosen not to follow because it isn't productive or healthy. "
The irony of Duff's comments calling Trump "Hitler" and a "fascist dictator" are not lost on anyone who remembers all the way back to covid.
Duff pushed extended lockdowns and unscientific social distancing practices.
He kept your children wearing masks in school while elected officials flaunted the mask rules.
He pushed covid vaccine mandates that cost many people their jobs and livelihoods. He even taunted and mocked people who declined to take experimental covid shots that have been linked to myocarditis, turbo cancer, and a very long list of side effects including, potentially death.
He doesn't care about your right to religious freedom, as he gleefully helped his party take away the religious exemption to vaccines on the childhood vaccination schedule.
He doesn't really seem to care at all about the views of nearly half of his constituents.
That's why Tagliaferro is urging voters to make sure their voices are heard.
"I urge all to remember this when choosing who you want to represent you. Life is about choices. Choose wisely," says Tagliaferro.
Marxism 101 - Accuse your opponents of the crimes you yourself are committing. Repeat the lie often enough and it becomes the truth.
We really must get over our incredulity, folks.
It is just pathetic to behold.
If you think politics is something other than a form of warfare where power and might are taken and imposed, then shame on you.
The other side, with their childish brand of morality have us over a barrel. And we just cry.
Take off the damned gloves and stop compromising on the truth.
Understand that the imposition of illegitimacy on another IS a violent proposition. Stop hiding from it.
