We are excited to announce the launch of the CTRAMM Bill Tracker!

This tool is designed to help you stay informed about proposed legislation in the 2025 session. At this stage, many bills are still labeled as "proposed bills," meaning they have not yet been pulled into committee for hearings or testimony. Some of these bills may not progress further, but others will move forward for consideration.

It’s important to note that certain bills are reintroduced every year, so while we encourage everyone to stay engaged, it’s equally important to manage expectations. Advocacy—whether supporting or opposing a bill—is critical, and we aim to provide you with the tools and resources to make your voice heard.

You can find support on how to write to the Legislature here.

    Bills CTRAMM is Tracking

Right now, here are some of the key bills we are focusing on this session:

    • Restoring the Religious Exemption: We are supporting an act to restore the religious exemption to immunization requirements for schoolchildren.
    • Expanding Exemptions for Immunizations: Supporting a philosophical exemption to immunization requirements.
    • Repealing the Menstrual Equity Act: We are supporting efforts to remove the $2 million annual mandate requiring free menstrual products in boys' restrooms in schools. Please sign our petition to support this effort.
    • Naturopathic Physicians as Primary Care Providers: Supporting a study on allowing naturopathic physicians to serve as primary care providers to address the shortage of physicians.
    • Vaccine or Treatment Injury Liability: Supporting an act to create a state cause of action for injuries or illnesses caused by mandatory vaccinations or medical treatments as a condition of employment.
    • Banning High Fructose Corn Syrup: Supporting a prohibition on the use, sale, or distribution of products containing high fructose corn syrup in public institutions, including schools and government buildings.
    • Opposing Cloud Seeding Regulation: Opposing a bill regulating cloud seeding activities in Connecticut. We instead advocate for a full ban on cloud seeding operations.
    • Animal Vaccination Choices: Supporting legislation that allows pet owners greater discretion in vaccinating their animals without penalties.
    • SB 1 – Omnibus Bill: Closely monitoring this broad legislation, currently vague, which could include provisions affecting education, healthcare, and other issues.
    • Parental Rights in Education: Supporting a bill that protects parents' rights to opt their children out of certain education courses or classes.
    • Historical Document Displays: Supporting a bill requiring public schools to display the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
    • Telecommunications Tower Restrictions: Supporting a bill prohibiting the installation or replacement of telecommunications towers near schools.

    How You Can Get Involved

We encourage everyone to review the Bill Tracker and use the links provided to learn how to support or oppose these bills. You’ll find resources on how to contact your legislators or the committees handling specific bills.

Additionally, please consider signing our petition to repeal the Menstrual Equity Act, which currently costs the state $2 million annually to place menstrual products in boys’ restrooms—a mandate we believe is wasteful and unnecessary—sign petition here https://www.ctramm.com/petition-to-remove-menstrual-equity-mandate.html

Stay informed and engaged. Together, we can ensure that Connecticut passes fair and responsible legislation. If you would like to support this work please consider a donation to our efforts here.
