    Greenwich Indivisible is advertising a new effort organized by the national Indivisible organization to thwart immigration enforcement operations.

    "There is [a] new National Indivisible initiative that some of you may be interested in -- visiting local businesses and asking them to make immigrants feel welcome and stand against ICE overreach by putting signs in their windows," wrote Greenwich Indivisible in their latest email.

    When you click on the link provided by Greenwich Indivisible, you land on the "Signs of Solidarity Canvassing Signup" page.

    Indivisible tells members that,"the Trump administration is deploying ICE deep into the hearts of our communities in an effort to spread fear among immigrants. In many places across the country, immigrant families – even citizens – are terrified to go to work, to do their shopping, to go about their lives for fear they may be rounded up by unaccountable masked men."

    So they are asking members to visit local businesses to ask them to post signs that declare support for all immigrants, including illegals, and show their opposition to ICE.

    Not only that, Indivisible wants local business to "create a private area for employees that ICE cannot legally enter without a signed judicial warrant" in order to throw a wrench into immigration enforcement efforts.

    Meanwhile, we've already seen at least one Greenwich Indivisible member, Dan Edelstein—the guy who advertised the "pop up protest" outside the Greenwich Library—out there filming federal immigration enforcement efforts in an attempt to dox officers.

    "Your mother proud of you," Edelstein asks the officers in Stamford before he repeatedly hounds them with the same two questions, "What's your name? What's your badge number?"

    Then he reads off the license plate for one of the vehicles as it leaves, while calling the officers "fucking assholes" for simply doing their job of making our communities safer.

    Meanwhile, ICE Enforcement and Removal Boston, the office that covers operations in Connecticut, revealed that ICE picked up at least four illegals in Stamford since Edelstein's post, including:

    • Nahum Arturo Herrera-Donaire, whose criminal history includes an arrest for risk of injury to a child;
    • Francisco Javier Cervantes-Perales, whose criminal history includes an arrest for risk of injury to a child;
    • Luis Miguel Quintana-Yanes, whose criminal history includes charges for assault, disorderly conduct, and strangulation/suffocation; and
    • Sara Araceli Garcia-Carrera, whose criminal history includes bribery of a witness, witness tampering and risk of injury to a child.

    Unlike Edelstein and his Indivisible comrades, we are grateful for ICE doing the dangerous work of removing criminal illegals off our streets.
