Danbury Police Says Republican HQ Struck By "Small Rock Or Similar Object" Not Gunshot As Alleged On Social Media

The Danbury Police Department is investigating minor damage to the front window of the Republican Headquarters in Danbury.

According to police, sometime prior to Monday, the window was "struck by a small rock or similar object, causing a vine-like crack in the glass. The incident likely occurred over the weekend. Officers canvassed the area and found no witnesses or additional damage."

"Contrary to reports circulating online, there is no indication that the building was shot at or that a firearm was involved," wrote the Danbury Police Department. "The investigation remains active, and the Mayor’s Office has been made aware. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Danbury Police Department."

Libs of TikTok claimed that "Emile Buzaid's office was shot up" and that the front window was shattered.
