The Newtown Democratic Town Committee just posted a Christmas wish to "rejoice in the birth of a brown-skinned, Middle-Eastern, undocumented immigrant."

The truth is baby Jesus was not an "undocumented immigrant."

He lived in a world that was all a part of the Roman Empire. His parents, Mary and Joseph, were simply moving across regional boundaries within the Roman Empire, something which was fully permitted, as long as you paid your taxes.

Even Politifact rated the statement "Jesus was an undocumented immigrant" as "false."

Not that the Newtown DTC cares about that!

Of course several "Newtown Allies" loved the inaccurate post, including Nicole Maddox and Wendy Leon-Gambetta.

Another person, Liz Gilbert, responded with an especially unhinged claim.

She argued that "Trump & Co would have had ICE violently attack him, deport him to a concentration camp and unalived him if he showed up today."

Really?

She thinks Trump would have had Jesus deported to a concentration camp and killed?

Is this really the message that Newtown DTC wants to leave with followers for Christmas?
