Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem labeled yesterday's shooting death of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis an act of domestic terrorism, but of course that's not how democrats and their activist network viewed the situation.

Senator Richard "I steal valor" Blumenthal is demanding justice and accountability after claiming "lawless immigration agents" have "terrorized" the community of Minneapolis.

Gov. Ned Lamont is also "demanding accountability for this brutal killing."

"Over this last year, communities have become terrorized by armed and masked immigration agents and have seen situations in which the rights of Americans and the basic values of our constitution have been disregarded," said Lamont. "This has to stop.”

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro claimed Good "was not obstructing ICE agents" and "was not even a protestor." Now Rosa wants ICE out of cities, Noem to be fired, and the officer to be prosecuted.

Congressman John Larson promised that whole the situation "could have been avoided if ICE was not present."

He fails to mention the dangerous pattern of rhetoric from people like himself who have been likening ICE agents to the "the SS" and "the Gestapo" for arresting illegal immigrants for months on end by now.

Senator Chris Murphy, who said there was no justification for the shooting, thinks ICE should immediately withdraw from Minneapolis.

Presumably, he applauded Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey when he told ICE to "get the f*ck out of Minneapolis" and Tim Walz when he declared Minnesota is at "war against the federal government."

By the way here is Trump's post on Truth Social, which included a video that appears to show the car hitting the ICE agent as he opened fire.

State Rep. Farley Santos (Danbury) was "outraged that heavy-handed tactics have once again led to fear, trauma, and now death."

He admitted that he "grew up undocumented" in the sanctuary state of Connecticut, but "never experienced the level of fear that so many community members and neighbors are feeling right now."

Congressional candidate and former Harford Mayor Luke Bronin was moved to record a video to condemn ICE for what he called a "wholly unjustified fatal shooting" -- a "murder by ICE."

He felt there was absolutely "no threat to any officers" and "no attempt to use that vehicle as a weapon."

He placed the blame squarely on the allegedly "toxic culture" of ICE, an agency Bronin says has fetishized violence," "dehumanized immigrants and protesters," and "views immigrants as invaders."

The Connecticut chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Connecticut 50501 and State Rep. Jillian Gilchrest all apparently agreed with Bronin's assessment that it was a "murder by ICE."

"Despite video evidence clearly showing she was no threat to the officers who murdered her," claimed CT DSA in an email, upset that Republicans labeled Good a "domestic terrorist."

CT DSA further called for the prosecution of ICE officers.

"We cannot allow intimidation and chaos to become tools of governance, or disagreement grounds for dehumanization," wrote Danbury Mayor and Connecticut Democrat Party Chair Roberto Alves in a Statement. "What we are seeing from federal immigration enforcement too often is not duty or order, but cruelty that puts lives at risk and erodes trust in the very institutions meant to keep people safe.

The North Haven Democrat Town Committee blamed ICE for being "out of control" and said that "no one should fear for their life for peacefully objecting to actions that are tearing their own neighborhood apart."

Mind you, Ms. Good was reportedly part of an anti-ICE protest group that had been tailing agents all day, honking horns, and attempting to block agents from using the road by parking illegally, per Noem.

State Rep. Aimee Berger-Girvalo said it was "clear as goddamn day" what happened and argued that the Trump administration was lying about what we saw.

Same with the Branford Democrat Town Committee and Hamden Democrats.

Several organizations decided to post an AI rendering of the supposed face of the ICE officer who allegedly shot Good, including BLM 860, CT Shoreline Indivisible, Connecticut Protests for Democracy and ACT UP Connecticut.

ACT UP Connecticut further called the officer who defended himself a "fascist pig."

Act Up CT was one of the first groups to announce the January 8th protest in New London.

The other sponsors include Connecticut Party for Socialism and Liberation and New London Immigrant Defense.

Indivisible even shared a calling script to beg Congress to defund ICE, force Noem to resign and arrest the ICE officer who defended himself.

The biggest protest of all appears set to take place in Hartford tonight at 6pm.

It's sponsored by: New Haven Immigrants, Danbury Unites for Immigrants, CT Students for a Dream, Muslim Justice Center, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, Hartford Deportation Defense, CT Civil Liberties Defense Committee, Worker's Voice, Harford Jewish Organizing Collective, JVP New Haven, Stamford Norwalk United With Immigrants, Working Families Power, 50501 Connecticut, ACLU Connecticut, Teamsters Local 1150 Pride, Connecticut DSA and Indivisible Connecticut.

State Sen. Saud Anwar, the Wallingford DTC, Women's March CT, BLM 860, and Connecticut Citizen Action Group (CCAG) have also advertised the flyer.

Of course, tonight's protests will not be the end in the on-going color revolution against the Trump Administration.

There's a national Indivisible call tonight to plan further action.

Yet another attempt to justify their lawless behavior and ramp up the violence.
The riots in the wake of George Floyd's death were completely out of proportion to the initial incident, just an excuse to smash property and blow off steam.
This driver left her kids, used her vehicle to harass the ICE agents all day long and then tried to run over one of the agents when they finally confronted her for arrest.
So much for non-violent demonstration, she instigated the entire situation.
