The following statement was issued by the Connecticut Republican Party:

As Connecticut recognizes Pride Month, the Connecticut Republican Party reaffirms our core principles of individual liberty, mutual respect, and parents' fundamental right to guide their children’s upbringing.

We believe that a free society is one that respects adults' rights to make their own choices, live their lives authentically, and pursue happiness as they see fit. Individual freedom is a cornerstone of our party, and we support the right of every adult to live free from unnecessary government intrusion. We condemn violence or the threat of violence against any individual because of their sexual orientation, race, creed, color, or ethnicity.

Unfortunately, it seems not all agree on these basic human values. We see, far too often, those on the far-left attack and dehumanize those who disagree with their actions or words. We see them attack individuals because of their religious or cultural beliefs. A world of rules for thee, not for me, is not a world that either our forefathers or Republicans believed in.

The recent issue related to San Francisco Giant ballplayers who wrote bible verses on their caps is a perfect illustration of the far left's intolerance. It was demanded that these players recognize others’ beliefs, but those same people refused to acknowledge or recognize the players’ beliefs. However, we must also stand firm in preserving childhood and the essential role of parents. While our society should always teach children the values of kindness, decency, and respect for all people, we believe there is a clear boundary that must be respected. Children should not be exposed to hyper-sexualized or over-the-top displays.

Furthermore, the government should not mandate, taxpayer-fund, or endorse activities in public spaces and schools that parents find fundamentally objectionable or that expose children to concepts that they are unable to process or understand. The state must respect the primary authority of mothers and fathers to introduce complex social, personal, and cultural topics to their children on their own timeline.

The Connecticut Republican Party remains committed to a state that champions personal liberty for adults, promotes mutual respect among all residents, and strictly protects parents' rights to raise their children according to their own values.

That's your separation from the Democrats? From the Left? From perversion?

[The Leftist, Democrat degenerates could employ the exact argument to defend their proclivities, er, values - values that the Republican/Christian/American institutions have stymied forever.]

And you select this innocuous little example of Leftist persecution of Christian MLB players to illustrate your point?

And you wonder why the culture is as such and why you won't prevail?

    Good grief...
