A pair of very brainwashed Connecticut high school students are encouraging their peers to join a walkout on Friday, February 6th, to protest ICE and "secret police" in Connecticut.
Protest co-leaders Dylan and Riley from Fitch High School in Groton, CT, shared a TikTok video about their plans.
The boys said the school administration is "angry" at them for calling out the school's "incorrect morals."
The boys said they were accused of sharing misinformation about the school's plan for dealing with ICE. School officials said an ICE plan had already been shared last year, but the boys complained that people didn't know about it.
"What could happen if ICE shows up to the school doors and teachers are unsure of how to keep us safe," said Dylan. "It's irresponsible to have a supposed ICE plan that isn't even available to the people who need it the most."
Riley said that students were worried about disciplinary actions related to the protest, and downplayed the repercussions, saying it would "only" be a detention or "at worst" a day out of school for partcipating in the protest.
"They are using words like 'disciplinary actions' to scare us into giving into their protest ideas," he said, suggesting the school was fear-mongering about punishments.
Parents will be joining the protest to keep the budding social justice warriors safe.
They also requested an escort by Groton Police, which was apparently denied, much to their disappointment.
The boys alleged that children are being disappeared from bus stops just because "parents wanted a better life for their children."
Now they are demanding that ICE not be permitted within a certain distance of schools.
Oh, anyone hating on this protest should know that they are "privileged" because they don't have to spend their lives worrying they will be taken "just because you're apparently the wrong color."
"The people going to this protest are so incredibly privileged by being able to make the choice between protesting or not," claimed Dylan. "If you don't protest because of fear of punishment, it is valuing your personal punishment over thousands of innocent lives and it is immoral."
The boys then accused their principal of lying by telling them that they could not utilize the school buses if they walked out of school and joined the protest.
They closed the video with an "ICE OUT".
Do you think the boys heard about the illegal who just last month got sentenced for coming to Groton to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex? Do they realize that ICE is keeping students safe from criminal illegals?
The boys indicated they reached out to groups that "specialized" in protests, presumably one of those groups includes 50501 Connecticut, which was egging on more students to protest.
"We invite #everyone to stand with us and support these brave #students as they #walkout in protest of ICE," wrote 50501 Connecticut on Facebook. "The school administrators threatened "Consequences" against the students who participate - But these brave students are united in Action!"
"Groton Public Schools - You are with them, or you are with ICE," 50501 Connecticut continued. "We will be there with them."
The Centinal heard rumors about walk-outs taking place in other Connecticut districts, too, including New Britain, Newington, and Norwalk
We contacted each of those districts.
New Britain indicated that the walk-out was not happening. However, an administrator did casually tell us the "organizers" were still going to plan an event for after school one day next week, but just didn't have details.
Officials in Norwalk promised to investigate and get back to us, while we are still awaiting a response from Newington.
