For years, Charlie Kirk traveled to college campuses across the country hosting his famous Prove Me Wrong events.
The concept is simple; set up a table in the middle of campus, invite students to step up to the mic, challenge ideas, ask questions, and have real conversations.
These events have sparked thousands of debates and discussions with students nationwide and have become one of the most well-known campus debate formats in the country.
Now, UConn students are picking up the mic.
As part of the Turning Point Prove Me Wrong Tour, Turning Point at UConn will be hosting Shane Winnings, a national speaker who travels to college campuses engaging students in open conversation about culture, politics, and freedom.
Winnings, who is also the Chairman and CEO Of Promise Keepers and an Afghan War veteran, will be appearing at UConn Storrs across from Gampel Pavilion on April 9th from 11am to 2pm.
The "Prove Me Wrong" events are all about open dialogue.
Anyone can step up, challenge ideas, and join the conversation.
And if you've never seen Winnings at an event like this before, definitely check out this video of him engaging students at Ohio State on the issue of "puppy abortion"... and then pray for our country.
