Let’s take a journey into the history of how we got to the point of no return in what qualifies as “healthcare” in America today, which is a woefully inadequate and qualifies to be categorized as a “weapon of de-population” and represents the biggest “fraud” and “genocide against humanity” ever perpetrated against a populous outside of war. The year was 1973, the American President was Richard Nixon, the bill in Congress was titled the “Health Maintenance Organization Act of 1973” it purported to update the “Public Service Act of 1944”. Believe me, when I tell you that this is and was the origin of the mess we call “healthcare” of our modern day. This act in one swift action was the origin of creating a “for profit” version of the relationship that formerly existed between one patient and one care provider, i.e., “doctor”. It is the reason for the destruction of that relationship and the “fee for service” model whereby a patient paid or compensated a doctor to provide care to the said person.
Decades of destruction later, the model now is a “for profit healthcare model” whereby doctors are not literally but actually beholden to the payer of record, no longer the patient, but rather the insurance company that provides their policy. This means, when you the patient go to the doctor, he or she depends on the payment rules of a bureaucracy when deciding how to care for you. The doctor is told how he or she is to take care of you if he or she wants to be paid. So, you the patient are now a victim of a cookie cutter care model that is also highly influenced by politics, and not by scientific methodology. You the patient are controlled by big pharma and big insurance and big government money that has been injected without your consent into your treatment plan. Obamacare, the ACA, cemented this model of doctors working for HMOs and Government, not you the patient, yet you continue to pay for this inadequate relationship in your treatment.
Doctors are paid to influence you to have more tests, more prescriptions, more vaccines (some of which are not even vaccines at all but DNA experiments that may cause you harm), more care that you don’t really need but yet they need to be paid to recommend to you for your treatment plan. Instead of common sense alternatives that will actually improve your health through diet and lifestyle changes, you become a victim of the system and a reason someone gets paid because you are chronically ill. It is a “cattle call” and no longer about an individual patient and doctor relationship.
The only patients that are treated as they should be are “private pays” that compensate the doctor directly to achieve his/her honest opinion and care outside of the “box of the bureaucracy” of insurance provided healthcare. Also noted is that most people with insurance actually pay 40-50% to receive care that is not oriented to them directly but based on this “HMO bureaucratic and cookie cutter care model” which for the most part is geared toward making all of us sicker and in need of more costly medical care.
Since the advent of the HMO for profit healthcare model, Americans have become less well. Our food and our healthcare tainted by a for profit model meant to rob us of our most basic right to live and thrive in order to line the pockets of wealth driven for profit healthcare provider owners and stock holders. Healthcare is an industry, not a service for the sick. That ship sailed when the government saw a cash cow that could increase their corrupt revenue in the coop that became the HMO industry which runs all the care given to Americans from Medicare to Obamacare and the like.
Healthcare and the seeking of legitimate sources by ordinary Americans is non-existent now. It is the new form of slavery, whereby the sick suffer and those who offer care profit in their misery.
Disgust is not a profound enough word of the English language to describe the design of this kind of genocide against ordinary people who don’t plan to be sick and surely don’t deserve to be “ripped off” by the system when they are sick and in need of care. Healthcare was never intended nor should it have ever been allowed to be a “for profit corporate and government run cash cow” weaponized against good and hard working Americans.
The fix for this would be a full repeal of the 1973 Health Maintenance Organization Act and a return to the model of one doctor, one patient relationship. The profit for the Doctors should be based on the patient’s satisfaction of the treatment, not the insurer. The insurance company should be completely removed from any oversight of care between patient and doctor. If this were the model, healthcare would return to the excellence immediately with the recognition that it was always intended to be the confidential exchange of between a doctor and a patient. When that relationship returns, all the fat that has made healthcare unaffordable will vanish. Fee for service will return to a viable level that allows negotiation and merit based service for consumers. Will this materialize, doubtful? However, as more Americans see what is perhaps a shift out of Obamacare and HMOs toward more doctor patient modeled care will transform. Unfortunately only for those who can afford it, sadly.
