• Independence Day Parade - Madison, CT

The Madison Exchange Club will continue its tradition of producing the must-see event of the summer! The Independence Day parade is fully funded and organized by the all-volunteer Exchange Club. This year’s Grand Marshal will be the Evarts Family who have a long tradition of service to Madison. The patriarch of the family, Ken Evarts and his wife Sandy, can be seen in the parade each year riding in one of their horse-drawn wagons or vintage vehicles. Both Ken and his father Sidney were very active in the Madison Exchange Club. The Evarts Family also supports the Charlotte L. Evarts Memorial Archives located in Memorial Town Hall that preserves material about the history of Madison.

Formation time is 8:30 to 9:45 AM in the Stop & Shop parking lot. The parade kicks off at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 4th down Route 1 through the center of Madison and concluding at the Surf Club.

Come join us in the Town of Madison’s finest moment of community celebration and dedication to its future!
