Our family has been through a lot over the last few years. We have stuck together and supported each other throughout with the help of many loving friends. This was no different.

The race for the 151st was invigorating and gave us all a united direction in our lives. My campaign team had few members, but they were able to accomplish incredible amounts of work through dedication and tireless effort. Our team worked closely together to maximize our exposure and reach as many voters as possible. We did this in a principled fashion, without taking State campaign funding.

Campaign manager, Joe Montanaro, took the work head-on from day one. It was a herculean effort, the likes of which I have rarely seen matched in my many decades of involvement in local politics.

I thank each and every one of you for your dedication, time and effort. Gail, Kristen, Linda, Dave, Brady, Rich & Mike and all my friends who volunteered their time and energy; Thank You all! You all warm my heart and bring a big smile to my face.

Exceptional accomplishments can be obtained against all odds, even if the outcome does not go exactly as planned. I have my family; my wife Jane, my daughter Kristen and son-in-law Eric to thank for their immense encouragement.

To the 6,400 plus voters who gave me the honor of their vote, I send to you a heartfelt and sincere thank you! Republican turnout in some of our town's largest voting districts touched nearly 90%. Truly incredible. This momentum and energy needs to be continued as we head into the new year with a clear vision to the future.

The race for the 151st District was a tight one. As my opponent and I sit a mere 400 votes apart with over 13,000 votes cast, our team is looking at results and numbers to confirm a final outcome in this election. We are doing this through all proper channels.

I would like to congratulate Senator Ryan Fazio on his hard-fought victory in the 36th Senate District, and wish Tina Courpas the best of luck as she takes over the 149th House seat. Tina ran an excellent campaign and garnered the support and respect of many people in Greenwich and Stamford. Congratulations to you both.

Thank you all and God Bless America,
