The once great State of Connecticut has gone rouge under a super majority hell bent on an agenda that is fueled not by reason, logic, or the wellbeing of the citizens. Cloaked in altruistic jingos, healthcare for all, universal childcare, funding for schools, climate change, affordable housing, and public health. There is an ever growing power grab by the state government to control every facet of life while dictating a moral higher ground.
This super majority recognizes no boundaries and has been growing in extreme power for years now. No one is safe from the legislative law fare directed at citizens. While energy prices soar, so does the corruption and arrogance in Hartford. “Let them eat cake”, the infamous words of Marie Antoinette just before the French Revolution. The corrupted king and queen and their court lavished in luxury as the people toiled in high taxes. The air at the Legislative Office Building is haughty. Heavy with do as I say you peasant, though not spoken with words like Marie Antoinette, the energy is just the same. The legislative body is not only out of touch with their own constituents, but legal precedent, science, and law.
There were so many awful bills to pass this session I would need to write a dozen articles to feature it all! The days are short and my garden calls to me. Here are some of the most outrageous bills passed this session.
The bill now law to combat electricity rates is a spit in the face to the people. Eversource and United Illuminating, both of which are part of government controlled monopolies, run by a government and created by the government’s, public, private, partnerships. PURA, which is an acronym for Public Utilities Regulatory Authority is both controlled and created by the government to appoint private unelected people who work in the industry to regulate the industry. why do people in Connecticut tolerate this corruption? The price of energy is rising with legislation passed by the super majority to support their climate change agenda which in reality is just a business scheme that will do nothing for the environment, but it sure will make venture capitalist and private equity funds very wealthy. This is a government created issue all the way. There is nothing public about Eversource or UI except that they are publicly traded companies with BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard, holding the most shares. What legislators that serve in Connecticut have stock in Eversource and UI? Public utilities actually run in five towns in Connecticut and they are controlled locally, not by the state’s monstourous creation, PURA. And no one owns shares at the expense of citizens reliant on electricity.
“There are six municipal utilities in Connecticut that run much more efficiently and for much lower costs to the consumer. A municipality can own and operate the power source for the people who live in its jurisdiction and decentralize the monopoly enjoyed by Eversourse and UI. Our wealth and prosperity are being eaten by corruption and a bloated bureaucracy that feeds itself on bad policies. “Net Zero”
“Over 2,000 communities in the U.S. rely on not-for-profit electric utilities that are locally owned and operated by the people they serve. Connecticut’s municipal electric utilities came together in 1976 to form CMEEC, the Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative.”
The Connecticut General Assembly began their legislative session for 2025 last week. Once again citizens can be reassured energy prices are only going up. The energy and technology committee held its first meeting with industry experts and lobbyists. Lobbyists and industry insiders were invited to a private lunch after the meeting to discuss other matte…
Pure insanity wrapped up in egoism are rampant among our legislative body. Nowhere is this more clear than in Senator Anwar who regularly lectures the public about being kind and using “love” to get your message across. Redressing the government does not need to be “kind” or delivered with love, but with decorum. Decorum can make some people feel bad. However, this is not about feelings, it’s about laws. It’s about a giant bloated government deaf to it’s own citizens. Our public servants regard themselves as subjects of King Lamont’s corrupted court of follies! Except they see themselves as holding the moral high ground. Since when are public servants moral authorities that have the power to dictate what we can or cannot do as citizens?
Senator Anwar is the man behind raising the level of fluoride in public drinking water in Connecticut. He is mighty proud of his efforts! The Capitol Dispatch reported, “Sen. Saud Anwar, D-South Windsor, Senate chair of the Public Health Committee, said the bill was designed to “future-proof” the state’s public health policies to ensure they remained aligned with accepted standards of care. “Challenges to widely accepted emergency room treatment policies, preventative treatment for dental health, and provision of reproductive and gender-affirming care could upend our systems as we know them if not for proactive consideration,” Anwar said.
There is a lot to unpack in this statement by Senator Anwar. In a nutshell, Connecticut will direct it’s own public health with the science from the experts they pay for. I am all for state’s rights, this vital freedom is essential for our Republic to thrive. However, we are not living in a state that is being run democratically with free and fair elections, an active citizenry, with a balanced government. Currently Democrats hold power in every branch of our government. We do not even have an Attorney General to police the super majority, he’s part of it!
The agenda of the super majority in Connecticut belies reason and facts. On fluoride, A Ninth Circuit Court Ruled, “Plaintiffs have proven, by a preponderance of the evidence, that water fluoridation at the level of 0.7 mg/L – the prescribed optimal level of fluoridation in the United States presents an “unreasonable risk of injury to health or the environment, without consideration of costs or other non-risk factors, including an unreasonable risk to a potentially exposed or susceptible subpopulation under the conditions of use.”
Yet Senator Anwar waxes on about kindness and conspiracy theories while he ignores the science on the proven neurotoxicity of fluoride. Anwar has broken his oath as a doctor, and a senator, as he blatantly ignores the recent court ruling on fluoride, and passes a law adding even MORE fluoride to the water. All in the name of “public health”. Fluoride is a known neurotoxin!! How dare the state add more of it to the water and codify this into public health law?! Citizens fought the government on this fact and won agains the Environmental Protection Agency. Senator Anwar could careless. Beware… Anwar wants in private wells too. Not saying he’s going to force you to fluoridate your water, but under this majority anything could happen. He has a big interest in private water wells and has for a few years now.
“Water is one of the most-essential parts of our survival, said Sen. Saud Anwar, D-South Windsor, a physician who is co-chairman of the Public Health Committee.
Problem, reaction, solution. They always sell their bad laws with what appears to sensible action. However, it is never sensible to allow bureaucrats into your life. Citizens can and should take care of their property and drinking water. If a landlord has an apartment, or a commercial rental, with bad drinking water, there are already laws to address this. Senator Anwar wants to police citizens, not represent them, and he uses every excuse he can.
The battle for our children’s health is now between the state and the citizens. As time goes on the reality of transgenderism becomes crystal clear. There are no “trans children”. There are only children. Instead of teaching kids reading, math, gym science, and the arts, our public schools are now centers where children can change their identity without parental consent AND get access to the “affirming care” they think they need. I have written extensively on transgenderism and the medical industrial complex. The surgeries and drugs given to children to make them have the wrong sex characteristics is honestly the stuff of nightmares. Here in Connecticut it is boldly celebrated and legislated as a right.
“Children do not have the capacity to make major medical decisions. This is basic common sense. However, Connecticut’s Attorney General has signed onto a Amicus Brief to protect the “privacy of a child’s chosen gender”. A child can go to school as Jane, and at school be called John, and then come home and be called Jane again.”

One of the first sex change surgeries to happen in the United States was performed at Johns Hopkins gender clinic on a two year child under the care of one of the founders of the gender clinic, Dr. John Money in 1967. The child was David Reimer, who was born Bruce Reimer. Due to a botched circumcision by another doctor, Bruce, under the care of Dr. John…
Parents are shunned by their elected leaders when they disagree. Attorney General William Tong refers to parents as a threat to “trans youth”. Tong openly supports transing children in school and hiding it from parents. The leadership in Connecticut actively and unabashedly promotes transgenderism, and explicit pornography in school. Transgenderism and pornography go hand and hand. Young people once gendered confused are now detransitioning and sharing the reality of their trans journey. All of the young people that once thought they were trans, and now live in their natural bodies as their true self, talk about internet chat groups and pornography as a catalyst or their gender dysphoria. Legislator in Hartford openly advocate for pornographic books to be available to children in public schools. This is just one book available to children in public schools in CT.

Since COVID the number of kids proclaiming they are trans is skyrocketing, and so are the victims of the transgender aftermath, the reality is that nothing can change your sex, it is immutable. Yet our legislative body has made Connecticut a sanctuary state for transgender “medical” care. The super majority in Hartford wants to go as far as amending the constitution and codifying into law gender “medicine” as a right! Science? The Cass Report, Tavistock?! Crickets! Transgender medical care is not care at all. It is experimental and should never be done on children. Hundreds of lawsuits have been filed against doctors and insurance companies by young people scarred from the reality and monstrous consequences of mastectomies, vaginoplasties, and phalloplasties, done on their young healthy bodies. You cannot just pause puberty?! You can not surgically change a person into the opposite sex. How is this even a debate?! How can any sane adult advocate for this?! This mindset does not represent my voice, or the voice of reason, or the ACTUAL science. What a dark time in our history!
I leave you with this last awful bill HB 5002, the Work, Live, Ride, bill which was lobbied and funded for by the Regional Planning Association. The RPA is an NGO financed by big players on Wall Street. This agency is part of the, “you’ll own nothing” crowd, because they, the stakeholders will own it all. You can rent it from them! Work, Live, Ride, essentially usurps local control of planning and zoning and gives it to Hartford. It is a developer’s wet dream of a bill. There is a lot of pressure on Lamont to veto it, but it is unlikely. This too is part of Lamont’s agenda, massive apartment complexes all over Connecticut. It’s a giant ball of BULLSHIT that will drive up property taxes, push people out of their affordable homes, and be the final nail in Connecticut’s coffin for the middle and working class. The only people that will be able to own an affordable home will be the extremely wealthy and the political class who serve them.

There is a shortage of housing according to the legislative body of Connecticut. The solution? An army of developers backed by The Regional Planning Association and a consortium of nonprofit organizations pursuing sweeping land use legislation in Hartford since 2021 with the passage of the
