I cite the CT Mirror article, Connecticut Children’s begins ‘winding down’ youth gender program, which starts off:

“Connecticut Children’s Medical Center confirmed Wednesday it is shutting down the program that provides gender-affirming health care to transgender and gender-diverse patients.

In a statement that closely echoes an internal memo hospital leadership sent to employees a few days ago, CCMC referred obliquely to pressure from the Trump administration and indicated the hospital struggled with the decision.”

And includes Ned Lamont’s pathetic statement:

“It’s disappointing for hospitals in Connecticut to be forced to make the difficult decision to end gender-affirming care for minors in response to the federal executive order. These decisions are not based on Connecticut values or Connecticut law—they part of a series of relentless federal demands that have created fear, confusion, and legal uncertainty for our healthcare providers,” Lamont said.

“To transgender youth and their families in Connecticut: you are not alone. We see you, we support you, and we are working closely with the Attorney General and hospital leaders to understand the full impact,” the statement continued. “In Connecticut, we do not turn our backs on kids in need.”

All he and the Democrat party care about is money; and losing funding if they don’t comply. Oh, “woe is me” poor corrupt cronies who are losing their kickbacks from the mutilation of mentally ill minors struggling with gender dysphoria. Many because they have been “groomed” by woke predators and pedophiles manipulating them into thinking they need to reaffirm their identity to the opposite sex and receive “medical care” to transition their new sex/gender. This kind of care and the deceptive semantic re-labeling marketing campaign of calling it “gender-affirming care” are both ludicrous and abusive to children. Minors under 18 do not have the mental capacity to make a life changing decision and have been manipulated by a political agenda. They have been taken advantage of and “used and abused” at a vulnerable time when they are “confused” and need to be cared for and loved, not manipulated and mutilated by disgraceful extortionists for profit.

I am happy that this is being stopped and exposed for the crime that it is. Yet Democrat leaders cite “Trump, Orange Man Bad” and fail to see the err in their ways, so pathetic. All medical facilities practicing this barbaric practice and calling it “care” should have their licenses to practice permanently revoked. Further, criminal prosecution needs to follow for this insanity that is destroying our youth, along with compassionately educating confused children about who they are, with a focus of loving oneself in the image and beauty of God’s creation that they represent.

I know this is likely not the only “gender-affirming” facility out there, and hope that the domino effect will take place both here and in all areas of our great nation.

This is an important turning point away from insanity and back to “parenting” and soul-seeking as to how we help our youth return to the enjoyment and enrichment of turning from a child to a young adult with dignity. Shielding them from the predators that are around every corner, who wish to use and abuse them for profit is the responsibility of the elders, and all of us who see this crime against our most vulnerable for what it is, and fight to end it’s existence that threatens our children and teens.
