The Trump Administration's intention to remove criminal illegals from the country has pretty much broken Connecticut Democrats, who have demonstrated they would much rather give sanctuary to these criminals under the state's Trust Act than deport them and make Connecticut safer.
The situation came to a head on August 15th when Libs of TikTok accused Stamford State Rep. Corey Paris (D) of doxxing ICE as agents conducted operations in Stamford.
ICE forwarded the post and tagged the US Department of Justice, prompting the Connecticut Democrats to post messages of support online for Paris, who previously interned directly for Bill, Hillary and Chelsea at Clinton Global Initiative... so he must be very special to the party.

Not only that, but the Connecticut Democrats then held a press briefing in Hartford yesterday to drop another love bomb on Paris after he received "vile, racist harassment and threats" which they blamed on the Libs of TikTok post.
It was a particularly nutty briefing, even by Connecticut democrat standards.
Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz promised that Paris didn't dox ICE or put agents at risk, he just shared some information with his constituents.
But she said, "on the flip side in the name of protecting federal agents, these agencies are now using their own considerable power... to intimidate Corey and validate misinformation that extremist groups are putting out, and those federal agencies have put Corey and his family at risk."
Bysiewicz cried about the Trump Administration's allegedly "hate-filled agenda" that she claims "has bred a very toxic environment that's just disgusting and downright dangerous" -- remember, she's talking about the Administration's efforts to remove criminal illegals.
Sen. Richard "Danang Dick" Blumenthal promised Corey that democrats have his back.
"Corey Paris did nothing wrong. He did nothing illegal. He did nothing that would warrant an official agency of the United States government to say charge him," complained Blumenthal, wrongly attributing the "charge him" quote to ICE instead of Libs of TikTok. "That is the language of a totalitarian agency out of control, a rogue instrument of law enforcement that has to be contained."
He plans on announcing an investigation by the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations in the coming days because he claims ICE is "exceeding its power" and "using unwarranted and excessive force" for "seizing people" off the streets.
State Senator Gary Winfield (D) promised that "Corey did not do the things that he was accused of doing" and then he likened ICE to "secret police" operating in a "rogue" manner.
State Rep. Eleni Kavros DeGraw (D) more or less said it was racist to accuse a black man of doxxing federal agents.
"But do not forget that he serves as a black man in this country, and that is a different way to serve than many of us who stand here today, including myself," says Kavros DeGraw.
She said incidents like this drive "noble servants" like Paris out of politics and finished her remarks by promising democrats "will be standing for the people of Connecticut, regardless of their immigration status."

State Rep. Antonio Felipe (D) said Connecticut residents should be thankful they have a rep like Corey, who is brave enough to warn constituents when is ICE conducting operations.
Felipe claimed, "Corey did nothing wrong. All he did was talk to his constituents about what they could look out for in the street..." -- you know, like ICE trying to detain criminals.
State Rep. Jason Rojas said, "I'm actually quite sad to be standing here today. Sad for what Corey is going through, sad for what his family is going through, sad for what his community is going through, sad for any individual who's living in fear today because of their status here in this country because of the color of their skin because of the language that they speak."
He further thinks the President has "chosen to grossly politicize citizenship and status and immigration status for very crass reasons" -- you know, like ensuring taxpayer money is used on benefits for legal citizens, and preventing illegals from voting in elections.
The way Sen. Maj. Leader Bob Duff sees it, Paris was, "merely trying to present a message to his constituents to say: Be vigilant. Be careful. And be on the lookout for anything that may not seem normal."
Duff thinks it's "time to take back our country" especially after watching the National Guard clean up DC, and after seeing "masked" ICE officers remove criminal illegals off the streets.
He further contemplated what might happen to "the next person" after Paris "who can't command the press, who can't command a group of people like this behind me in support" of the democrat narrative about protecting illegals.

State Treasurer Eric Russell was the last speaker in the clown show press briefing.
He defended Corey and said we should all be doing what Corey was doing when we are living "in an environment where we are seeing people snatched off the street by folks in masks, unmarked."
You wanna know what the democrats didn't do at the briefing?
They didn't stand up for victims of crimes committed by criminal illegals, including victims who have been kidnapped, assaulted, sexually violated, etc.
And democrats wonder why they are facing a voter registration crisis!

P.S. Just to be clear, we do not condone people making violent threats to anyone, let alone elected officials, and that includes State Rep. Corey Paris — nor do we condone protecting criminals under Connecticut's Trust Act.
Speaking of which… here are the worst offenders picked up in Operation Broken Trust in Connecticut:
