Well, it was like watching a crumbling regime throw away its last scraps of credibility, now wasn't it?
Charlatan #1: US Senator Richard Blumenthal (CT) (Democrat)
From the start, Dick kept going on about how whoever is tweeting from the ICE Twitter account publicly told those dealing with the Department of Justice's Twitter account to "charge him", in other words CT state representative Corey Paris. This regarded Corey's alleged tipping off illegal immigrants about ICE activity in the Stamford, CT, area on Instagram, which became the topic of a Libs of TikTok tweet.
Dick, we haven't seen any tweet with "charge him" by ICE. That's Libs's take in the Twitter sphere. We have seen a retweet with "@TheJusticeDept". Clearly this is a request to look into this and maybe investigate. No CT Dem smoke-and-mirrors drama is needed.
Charlatan #2: CT House of Representatives Eleni Kavros DeGraw (Democrat)
Ms. Kavros DeGraw exhibited her far left thinking in defense of Corey Paris. You see, in her pampered and delusional mind, she thinks the criticism of Paris is because he is a black man.
No, Ms. Kavros DeGraw, you need to step out of your privileged, lily white suburb more. No one cares about Corey's racial background. What critics care about is his alleged doxxing of law enforcement agents which is against federal law.
Charlatan #3: CT State Senator and Majority Leader Bob Duff (Democrat)
Next, slick Bob Duff minced to the podium and spouted insincere doom and nonsense as he does, impressed with himself. But he even lost the CT Dems in attendance at the end of his oh-so profound speech when he told us we all should support not Corey Paris, but Corey Davis.
You can see the CT Dems a little startled, awkwardly clapping, while I burst out laughing. It was a bull's eye right on the dodgy Duff brand.
Charlatan #4: CT Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz (Democrat)
After state senator Bob's blunder, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz went to the podium looking frazzled yet accomplished with her organized press event.
She seemed to have confused the political press briefing with an art fair or a stylish furniture showcase when she opened up the conference to questions by their "media partners"!
Usually one would say "media associates" or "now, we'll take questions from the media." But Susan said "media partners" with no reservations. As "partners", the selected media representatives were there to help roll out their messaging: Corey Paris, without investigation, did not break federal law and was instead a victim.
Throughout, the group stacked on a number of complaints and made an appeal for support from the public.
What Lt. Gov. Susan doesn't realize is that the interface with their very real and questionable "media partners", not independent journalists, recalls Nazi-era press bullying and directives, as shown in the following video clip below.
The winner of the day? Libs of TikTok.
Libs released a number of tweets showing excerpts from the press conference. Many on Twitter were laughing along with her with thousands of likes and retweets.
