Forget about turning down the political temperature!
The League of Women Voters of Connecticut (LWV CT) wants followers to "escalate" their response to "Trump's second regime" by joining March On's Free America Walkout today at 2pm in Hartford.
The plan is to walk out of work, school and commerce; to withhold labor, participation and consent; and to otherwise "refuse to cooperate" with "fascism" by becoming "ungovernable."
There's even a special toolkit to teach students how to participate in the walkout.
The way the Free America coalition sees it, the country is facing an "an escalating fascist threat" with "ICE raids on our communities, troops occupying our cities, families torn apart, attacks on our trans siblings, mass surveillance, and terror used to keep us silent."

Free America, which is also supported by the usual suspects (e.g., Indivisible, Sunrise Movement, Democratic Socialists of America), has outlined an insane list of demands the coalition feels are necessary in order to "free America from fascism," including things like:
Apparently these folks have not seen the latest Rasmussen poll which reveals that even most democrats (69%) believe it's important to deport illegal aliens who commit crimes.
Free America says the purpose of the walkout is to test their collective power.
They want to see if left wing activists can "build the muscle for non-compliance and action-based resistance" and become as powerful as movements in other countries that have "dismantled injustice and toppled authoritarian regimes."
The coalition's goal is to achieve a "feminist America that is economically just, racially equitable, and safe for immigrants."
If you're thinking right about now, "but isn't the League of Women Voters meant to provide unbiased, nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and related policy issues? What the heck are they doing backing a revolutionary movement demanding open borders and the abolition of ICE?"
Then you should know the LWV CT recently clarified its mission in light of the alleged "constitutional crisis" in the country.

"Supporting an inclusive democracy is not, and has never been, a neutral political position," says LWV CT. "Our nonpartisan commitment means we never support or oppose any political party or candidate."
Except Donald Trump.
Because LWV CT believes Trump's policies "erode the norms of our democracy" so it's okay to oppose everything his administration does.
That's what the League's national initiative, LWVUS Unite and Rise 8.5, is all about: the collective "civic duty" to rise up against the Trump administration.
By the way, when we hear LWV CT throwing around the term "inclusive democracy," it just sounds like the exact same rhetoric we hear from all of the other Soros-linked groups pushing the same globalist, communist agenda.
And yes, LWV is a Soros-linked group and has received money from Open Societies.
