    Last week, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont introduced Governor's Bill No. 5044, An Act Establishing Vaccine Standards.

    The proposed bill says the Commissioner of Public Health "shall establish the standard of care for immunization for residents of this state" -- not just for infants and children -- marking a shift in adult vaccination policy.

    Connecticut Residents Against Medical Mandates (CTRAMM) summed it up like this:

    "HB 5044 sets a precedent for centralized authority, reduced legislative oversight, and the potential for future adult vaccine mandates without meaningful public input.

    What HB 5044 does:

    • Removes the existing regulatory review process from adult vaccination policy;
    • Transfers decision-making authority directly to the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health;
    • Eliminates required legislative oversight for future changes; and
    • Establishes the framework for an adult vaccine schedule to be set administratively."

    "HB 5044 does not immediately mandate vaccines for adults, but it creates the legal structure that would allow future mandates — including workplace mandates — to be imposed without legislative approval," cautioned CTRAMM.

    If you haven't already done so, please sign CTRAMM's petition, and definitely check out the information they have regarding the timeline and what happens next.

    What Republican Gubernatorial Candidates Are Saying About HB 5044.

    We reached out to the Republican candidates for Governor to find out their positions.

    "In the Senate I have always opposed forced vaccination and supported religious exemptions. Unfortunately, Governor Lamont is not satisfied with the level of personal medical freedom he has already infringed upon and appears to want to further erode these freedoms this session," said Ryan Fazio. "I believe in the effectiveness of certain vaccines in promoting public health, and I also believe in medical freedom. This session and as governor, I will continue to protect personal autonomy in patient health care decisions."

    "As Governor I will recognize and defer to each person's and parent's medical and religious exemptions, as the vast majority of states do," said Betsy McCaughey. "I vaccinated all my children, but other parents may have different concerns and beliefs. I respect that."

    "I oppose HB 5044, which grants Connecticut's health commissioner unilateral power to add vaccine mandates," said Harry Arora, who is in the exploratory phase of his campaign. "I believe in science-based policy informed by data and evidence. I strongly believe in individual liberty and parental authority over healthcare decisions. Individual rights to our bodies and privacy are enshrined in our constitution. COVID-era mandates have done irreparable damage to public confidence in public health institutions. Going forward, the Governor and legislature should refrain from new intrusions into personal medical decisions."

    We reached out to Erin Stewart, but her Communications Manger indicated around 3pm that they were not able to meet our 5pm deadline today. We offered to update the article whenever Erin is able to provide a statement, but thought it odd that she didn’t have a statement already prepared on such a controversial bill. Then we remembered…

    You Could See More Vaccine Legislation Coming From A Mile Away.

    We started hearing chatter about a "regional CDC" in August 2025.

    Lamont subsequently joined the "Governors Public Health Alliance" aka The "Regional CDC" two months later in October.

    In December, former CDC director Mandy Cohen co-authored, "The Essential Role of States in Protecting Immunization Access," which argued federal agencies have "abdicated their historical responsibility" with respect to vaccination guidance, and encouraged states to come up with their own plans until the old federal vaccine policies are restored.

    Last month, Lamont made it clear he opposed the CDC's recommendation to reduce the number of recommended childhood vaccines from 17 to 10. The change, which came after an exhaustive review of scientific evidence, aligned the childhood vaccine schedule with international consensus, while strengthening transparency and informed consent.

    "For generations, these vaccinations have successfully limited the spread of contagious diseases, diminished their impacts, and kept the public safe and healthy. There is no legitimate medical rationale for changing course now," he argued.

    Just so we're clear on the timeline, no formal nationwide immunization program existed before 1962. In 1963, the only vaccines routinely recommended for children were DTP, polio, and smallpox. The first unified national vaccine schedule wasn't created until 1995; it covered 6 diseases. By 2024, the vaccine schedule exploded to cover 17 diseases, which could mean as many as 70+ individual injections for a child from birth to age 18.

    Meanwhile, children’s health dramatically deteriorated across a broad spectrum of indicators from 2007 to 2023, and now nearly half of US children have at least one chronic condition, according to a 2025 JAMA Network study.

    Nonetheless Lamont argued that "medical decisions need to be determined by science, not conspiracy theories" and promised to "support our medical community and support their recommendations when it comes to protecting public health.”

    Public Health Commissioner Manisha Juthani also pushed back on changes to the national childhood vaccine schedule last month.

    She promised to continue to support "evidence-based recommendations" unless those recommendations come from officials in the Trump Administration, apparently.

    That's how "science" works according to the people who knowingly pushed unscientific mask and social distancing mandates for years, along with covid policies that led to thousands of deaths in nursing homes, and vaccine mandates that forced many people to choose between keeping their job or potentially suffering a serious or deadly vaccine side effect.

    We Would Be Remiss If We Failed To Mention The Epstein Files.

    By now you've probably heard that Jeffrey Epstein and his elite friends, like Bill Gates, were all very, very much pro-vaccination. Many of them were directly involved in developing and / or promoting covid vaccines. In fact, these were the kind of people who joined that tabletop simulation we told you about five years ago called Event 201.

    Sayer Ji, the founder of GreenMedInfo, published a series of four articles on the Epstein files and the vaccine agenda; you might be shocked at what he has uncovered:

    By the way, Ji's investigation wasn't "concerned with the origins of COVID-19 itself" but "rather, it examines what was already in place before it arrived."

    Ji concluded that "coronavirus pandemics were not hypothetical abstractions, but explicitly modeled scenarios—integrated into financial, philanthropic, and policy planning well before COVID-19 emerged."

    Did he say “integrated into… policy planning well before COVID-19 emerged”?

    Because that brings us right back to HB 5044... a bill that needs to be stopped before we lose even more of our precious medical freedom in this state!
