When a state Department of Public Health starts issuing marching orders on how to be a proper "ally" during Pride Month, complete with bullet points on listening to "lived experiences," enforcing pronouns, and pushing "equity and access," you know the long march through the institutions has reached the bloodstream of government.

The Connecticut DPH's recent post isn't harmless rainbow propaganda. It's a textbook deployment of neo-Marxist identity politics, dressed up as public health.

The post tells you to "listen to and learn from the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people." This isn't advice for empathy. It's the elevation of the subjective "lived experience" as superior knowledge — it's straight out of Marxist critical theory. In classical Marxism, the proletariat had the true consciousness of class oppression. In today's cultural Marxism, it's the "marginalized" identities who possess insight into "systemic" realities that the rest—especially straight, "cis," or white people—can never access without their guidance.

This rejects objective expertise, evidence-based medicine, and empirical reality in favor of a narrative. Public health, which should be grounded in epidemiology, statistics, and biology, now bows to feelings filtered through Queer Theory and Critical Gender Theory. "Lived experience" becomes unassailable: dispute it, and you're denying humanity. It's not science; it's a power play. Paulo Freire called it conscientização—waking up to the "oppression." It's also called getting woke.

"Being an ally is more than a hashtag." Indeed. It's active participation in the cultural revolution. The post demands you use "inclusive language," speak up against "disrespect," and support policies for "equity." This is straight from the Inclusion playbook of DEI: not genuine belonging, but a manipulative cycle to enforce ideological conformity. "Inclusion" is the velvet glove over the iron fist — join us, confess your privilege and complicity as an oppressor, and you, too, can be an ally in the struggle.

Allyship training turns citizens and professionals into unpaid political officers. Doctors, nurses, and bureaucrats aren't there to treat patients based on biology and best evidence. They're there to affirm identities, police speech, and redistribute "access" along identity lines. Dissent? That's called "disrespect." Silence? It's viewed as "complicity." This is how you capture institutions: not with tanks, but with rainbow flags and guilt.

And there's that magic word: "improve equity and access." Equity isn't equality under the law or equal opportunity. It's engineered equal outcomes by tearing down "systems" that produce disparities. Classical Marxism redistributed wealth by class. This is the cultural version: redistribute status, resources, language, and medical gatekeeping by race, gender, sexuality. If outcomes aren't proportional, it's proof of "oppression" — never biology, behavior, culture, or individual choice.

A public health department pushing this during pride month isn't neutral. It's subordinating actual health metrics—suicide rates, mental health comorbidities, desistance data, biological realities of sex—to the demands of a political movement. "Equity" here means prioritizing affirmation over caution, ideology over evidence.

This is cultural Marxism, full stop.

Don't let the rainbows fool you. It's the same idea -- the oppressor vs. oppressed -- but along identity axes instead of just class. The goal remains the same as with traditional Marxism—dismantle the "normal," the family, objective truth, and liberal institutions from within.

They frame disagreement as bigotry to shut down debate, then institutionalize the "ally" script as policy. Year-round engagement? That's permanent revolution by other means.

"Lived experience" has its place in storytelling, not in dictating policy or silencing expertise. Real allyship to truth means calling this what it is: a managerial repackaging of socialism aimed at your institutions, your language, and ultimately, your kids.

The post ends with a photo of a same-sex couple with a baby. Heartwarming, some might say. But in context, it's the normalization of the new sacred. Question it at your peril.
