Every Nutmegger needs to recognize what has been happening in Connecticut over the past decade, before our Constitution State officially becomes the Communist State of Connecticut. We must do more than complain—we must act. We should follow the principles our Founding Fathers set forth in the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago, which still hold true today.

“[I]f the citizens neglect their Duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish or local purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the Laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizen will be violated or disregarded.” Noah Webster.

Noah Webster not only served in the Connecticut Militia during the Revolutionary War, but he also helped shape the new nation through his cultural and political work. He championed a unified national identity and authored essays and pamphlets strongly supporting a centralized federal government and ratification of the U.S. Constitution. His words easily apply today amidst the political chaos and denigration of our proud American heritage here in Connecticut.

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government and provide new guards for their future security." Roger Sherman.

Roger Sherman, co-author of the Declaration of Independence, the Continental Association, Articles of the Confederation and the US Constitution venerates armed revolution and resistance to tyranny by saying, “Sad will be the day when the American people forget their traditions and their history, and no longer remember that the country they love, the institutions they cherish, and the freedom they hope to preserve, were born from the throes of armed resistance to tyranny, and nursed in the rugged arms of fearless men.”

Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, and Disaffected Democrats (all often call Republicans) are fighting for everyday American citizens just as our Founding Fathers did to build a new nation where everyone is free to pursue their dreams. These folks comply with the US Constitution and believe that only US citizens should vote in US elections, boarder security, and believe in our great nation founded by people who knew oppression.

Patriots of every generation now is the time to act. Speak up, support Republican candidates who are fighting—and will continue to fight—for our freedoms, donate to their campaigns, volunteer, and most important, vote this November for American values rather than the far-left Democrat agenda driving Connecticut toward socialism and communism.

Sanctuary policies and taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants—including housing, welfare, Medicare, SNAP, food, education, cell phones, and electricity—must end. In Connecticut, 40 percent of tax dollars go to social welfare programs that have failed to deliver results. These policies are failing our constitutional republic.

Do not let our beautiful state of Connecticut dishonor the sacrifice of those who fought to make our Republic the greatest nation in the world. Heed the words of Connecticut natives Noah Webster and Roger Sherman. Stand as a patriot, defend our state from the socialist and communist agenda, and vote this November for freedom from tyranny. Let us take Connecticut back.

Those that can do something have the responsibility to do something. All of you reading this article have the responsibility to do something. Do not let socialism and communism take away our history, our dreams, our future and our children and grandchildren’s future.

What do we do when both sides are actually working together and everything is going just as planned? My opinion is that they all need to be cut off. 80% of our taxes go towards servicing debt on play money. It’s pure money laundering and both sides have been blackmailed to keep it going. How do stop it, stop filing and paying all taxes and stop paying an accounts that have interest attached. It would need to be a concerted effort with at least half the population. Then we could demand our terms.
