Penzeys Spices isn't afraid of offending Republicans or losing them as customers, it seems.
Instead, Penzeys is proud to intertwine left-wing politics with its business and doesn't much care about the negative impact on sales.
"Since we first posted this on our website it has cost us a good chunk of our sales. But sometimes some things are more important than sales," read the August 16th post on Facebook.
"Hopefully this November 5th America’s rejection of what the Republican Party has become is so overwhelming that they have no choice but to change. Until then we will keep our About Republicans up," said Penzeys.
In the About Republicans post, Penzeys argues that Republicans have embraced what "looks a whole lot like insanity" and have a "goal of preserving the position of those who profit from the inhumanity..."
The post goes on to blame Republicans for "intentionally blocking" solutions to things like climate change, racism, health issues and, well, generally "saving democracy" at home and abroad.
"There’s no way to respect the nonsense the Republican Party is promoting," says Penzeys with a dose of hypocrisy, as the company is currently advertising a product called "Transgender Remember Vanilla Sugar of Love" in its most recent email.
In fact, a Facebook post from a day ago even celebrated the fact that Tim Walz made Minnesota a sanctuary state for transgender kids because, Bill Penzey writes, "as a teacher and a father" Walz "knows it’s the right thing to do."
Republicans think transing kids is nonsense and celebrate Trump's plan to stop the transgender insanity.
The way Penzey sees it, it's a matter of either "save America and planet Earth" or "save the feelings of Republican voters".
Penzey doesn't think this is a hateful attitude to take.
Of course in the very next paragraph of his "About Republicans" rant, he accuses Republicans of being racist. Then he complains about Republicans supporting Trump.
"Remember when your [Republicans'] distrust of big city types, and your deep rooted beliefs in paying your debts, respecting your marriage, raising kids willing to serve, honoring your word, and going to church every week had you voting for Donald Trump over Joe Biden all because Biden’s son had a computer? Or how you couldn’t vote for Hillary because she was over-prepared and used emails?" Penzey wrote.
Talk about propaganda! Republicans recognize that Hunter's laptop from hell is 100% real and know that Hillary did destroy email evidence.
"Going forward we would still be glad to have you as customers, but we’re done pretending the Republican Party’s embrace of cruelty, racism, Covid lies, climate change denial, and threats to democracy are anything other than the risks they legitimately are," Penzey tells customers.
"If you need us to pretend you are not creating the hurt you are creating in order for you to continue to be our customer, I’m sad to say you might be happier elsewhere."
There you have it, Republicans.
Penzeys, which has multiple physical store locations in Connecticut, is a spice outlet for Democrats.
Ever since my first & last order several years ago with their leftist political inserts in my order, I have vowed never again to order form their website.
I just recently found out about Bill Penzey Jr. and his hate-filled political stance. I will never purchase so much as a grain of salt from them ever again. Not only that, I plan to do everything in my power to spread the word about this out of touch, ignorant, reprobate guttersnipe Bill Penzey Jr.
Not real certain where Penzy gets his hatred but it is very strongly engraved in him.
Shows me this fool has no business sense. With people telling him to shove his spices where the sun don't shine means nothing to him. His retail locations are his life's blood. He is too stupid to understand his vulnerabilities. There is no reason to bring him any business at all.
