Connecticut Attorney General William "Lawfare" Tong turned out another wild-eyed performance for the Labor Day protest organized by his activist comrades in Hartford.
He said, "the sovereign state of Connecticut knows what it means to stand up to tyrants."
"So Donald Trump, we're going to be clear. If you're going to try to deploy American military, soldiers with guns on streets in Connecticut, you will have to come through me and all of us, and we are not afraid of you!" Tong declared, flanked by democrats and activists.
Tong doesn't seem to care that the National Guard has been incredibly effective at cleaning up crime in DC... so much so that DC Mayor Muriel Bowser issued an order earlier this week that requires law enforcement to cooperate with their federal counterparts “to the maximum extent allowable by law within the District.”
“Wow! Mayor Muriel Bowser of DC has become very popular because she worked with me and my great people in bringing CRIME down to virtually NOTHING in DC. Her statements and actions were positive, instead of others like Pritzker, Wes Moore, Newscum, and the 5% approval rated Mayor of Chicago, who spend all of their time trying to justify violent Crime, instead of working with us to completely ELIMINATE it, which we have done in Washington, D.C.,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Meanwhile, New Haven just racked up the fifth homicide in two weeks.
Tong also ranted about "pushing back on the billionaire enablers" including those enablers allegedly inside the Connecticut legislature and across the state, especially those who are running in municipal elections in November.
"If you support the people who attacked the nation's capitol, right. If you can't say that that was an insurrection, that was an act of rebellion, if you can't say that that was not only wrong, that that is treason, treason, then you are not qualified to serve here or anywhere else in the state of Connecticut," shrieked Tong while wagging his finger at the Capitol.
"We are in this fight, folks. Every single one of us, and we are kicking his ass," screamed Tong before he started to shout out his lawfare wins thanks to activist court judges.
He bragged about suing over tariffs which he said have "squeezed" working families and seem to be the singular cause of rising prices from Tong's perspective -- forget about democrat policies and all the illegals funded by your tax dollars.
"We beat him in May. We got a judgement against him on tariffs and just on Friday, the United States Court of Appeals said, 'yes Mr. Attorney General, you are right, his tariffs are unlawful'," yelled Tong while fellow legislators, like Sen. Richard Blumenthal and State Rep. Anne Hughes, smiled and cheered. "So now Donald Trump, we are 2 and 0 on tariffs and we're going to continue this fight."
The Trump Administration asked the Supreme Court yesterday to quickly make a decision on tariffs. Also note that a second challenge to Trump’s tariff authority is already scheduled for the Sept. 29 SCOTUS conference.
