Former FBI Director James Comey just got indicted on two counts for allegedly making a false statement and for obstruction of a congressional proceeding related to the Crossfire Hurricane probe.

This comes after President Donald Trump accused Barack Obama and his "whole gang" of being guilty of treason this morning.

During his earlier comments, Trump specifically named James Comey as being part of the "whole gang" that was assembled under the leadership of Barack Hussein Obama to rig and steal elections against Trump. He promised they would face justice.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said that today's indictment reflects the Department of Justice's "commitment to holding those who abuse positions of power accountable for misleading the American people."

FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X, "Today, your FBI took another step in its promise of full accountability. For far too long, previous corrupt leadership and their enablers weaponized federal law enforcement, damaging once proud institutions and severely eroding public trust."

"Every day, we continue the fight to earn that trust back, and under my leadership, this FBI will confront the problem head-on," promised Patel. "Nowhere was this politicization of law enforcement more blatant than during the Russiagate hoax, a disgraceful chapter in history we continue to investigate and expose. Everyone, especially those in positions of power, will be held to account - no matter their perch. No one is above the law."

Wonder how well the others named in the "gang" will be sleeping tonight after the news?
