State Rep. and US Congressional candidate in Connecticut's first district Jillian Gilchrest relies on her ethics to keep her grounded when she's "doing the work."
"Our federal government is being run by a lot of unethical people," claimed Gilchrest. "Chief among them, Donald Trump. He is flagrantly breaking the law and his oath to our country."
If she's elected to Congress, Gilchrest promises to impeach Trump.
Sure, there are plenty of other issues she wants to address if she gets elected to Congress -- economic equality, public education, women's health -- but impeaching Trump is really what it's all about for her.
That's why she's extremely proud to be designated a "courage candidate" by the shadowy, purpose-organization for anti-Trump activism, Citizens' Impeachment.
She claims Citizens' Impeachment is a "movement empowered by everyday Americans."
Gilchrest is even holding an "Impeachment Town Hall" on January 14th with her newfound activist friends to talk about "impeachment, courage and accountability."
Though she is not the only "Courage Candidate" in Connecticut, as the Trump-hating Citizens' Impeachment also endorsed democrats Kyle Gauck for CT-02, Andrew Rice for CT-03 and Joseph Perez-Caputo CT-04.

The goal of the Citizens' Impeachment movement is "to get the U.S. Congress to impeach Donald Trump, convict him, and remove him from power."
The movement was co-founded by former senate staffer Gabe Garbowit, who worked inside the legislative branch during both previous impeachments, and a longtime political activist, Keira Havens.
They started by organizing an effort called "Operation Anti-King" which successfully recruited Rep. Al Green of Texas, Reps. Suzanne Bonamici and Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Sam Liccardo and Maxine Waters of California, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Shri Thanedar of Michigan, and Hank Johnson of Georgia to join the mission to impeach Trump.
Literally everything the organization does is centered around the question: “How will this move members of the United States Congress to support Donald Trump’s removal from office?”
Why remove Trump?
Well, the Citizens' Impeachment propaganda claims that popular support to impeach Trump in “safe Republican” districts now exceeds 50%. The activists try to paint Trump as a "tyrant" whose "crimes against our republic meet the definition of tyranny" by:

Citizens' Impeachment recently added two more names to its impeachment list:
Now the organization is building a coalition of organizations to help push their propaganda, including several different chapters of Indivisible and 50501, and a host of other social justice organizations (e.g., Say No To Fascism, Rise Above Justice Movement, Fight Against Fascism, Citizens Against Tyranny).
The group sells merch, but it's otherwise unclear where it gets funding.
However, we can probably make an educated guess since Citizens' Impeachment co-sponsors events with other groups fighting in the on-going color revolution against the Trump Admin, including Free America, Remove the Regime, 50501, Women's March, Removal Coalition and Free Speech for People.
