Candidate for Governor Betsy McCaughey came to speak to the Easton Republican Town Committee (RTC) assembly Thursday, January 22nd.
As Easton Representative Tony Scott and Senator Tong Hwang finished their remarks on current issues and the upcoming General Assembly session, Ms. McCaughey was welcomed to the front of the room to speak.
She gave a lively presentation that she was a candidate for governor; provided information on the issues of the state that Governor Lamont had done to decimate our state in taxes, down to "Public Benefits"!
Betsy had the Republicans' attention on the concepts of tax reduction. Ms. McCaughey had specific comments as to her experience as Lt Governor under George Pataki as able to good things for the people -- she's a proven states woman.
She's determined to make a difference for Connecticut!
