Connecticut U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D) is an example of the “rage” that has taken over the Democrats as the party vows to “unleash a revenge tour after taking power in November,” writes law professor and legal analyst Jonathan Turley.

The author of the instant New York Times bestseller Rage and the Republic: The Unfinished Story of the American Revolution, Turley noted in his column after President Donald Trump’s State of the Union (SOTU) address that Murphy appeared on MS NOW “to feed the rage addiction that has taken over his party.”

Murphy announced on X Tuesday that he would not be attending Trump’s SOTU address, stating he worked with leftist political action group Moveon.org to organize an alternate event.

“Donald Trump won’t talk tonight about how ICE is tear-gassing elementary schools, murdering American citizens, and disappearing legal immigrants,” Murphy posted to X, along with a clip of his speech at the event. “Democrats position is clear: no more funding for ICE until they stop their lawlessness and abuse.”

Turley added Murphy’s name to a list of other enraged Democrats who are already planning for the radical changes they will make to America once they win the midterm and 2028 elections: former policy advisor to both Barack Obama and Joe Biden Susan Rice, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, Democratic strategist James Carville, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz(D), to name a few.

“Murphy clearly got the message and added his voice in declaring that ‘they’re going to get their clocks cleaned this November, and a bunch of people are probably gonna end up going to jail,’” the George Washington University law professor wrote, admitting that the senator’s vow is a “curious” one, “since the Democrats could retake the House and Senate in November.”

“That would not give them the ability to throw people into jail even if they had actual crimes to charge,” Turley nevertheless underscored.

“What is clear is that the Democratic Party has now decided to try to ride the rage wave to power, leading the mob with such reckless rhetoric,” he asserted, warning, however, they are likely to be “devoured by the very mobocracy that they are unleashing through rage politics.”

Lumen-News reached out to Murphy’s office for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

The Commies always eat their own. And little soy-boy Murphy will be on the menu before he realizes he's been a useful-idiot all along.......... 'Just desserts'........

I'd rather see justice served by the rightful American heirs against the entirety of their communist tormenters, than witness Murphy get 'eaten by his own'.
Nevertheless, I question Turley's respective eyesight and foresight with 2 simple questions:

Does he not find America already completely unmoored from the Constitution and basic prudence?
Wouldn't that render the Murphy types, untouchable?

Murphy's not simply riding a wave of rage, but a cultural plunge that cannot be stopped.
