Central Connecticut State University welcomes illegal immigrants with open arms.

    How open, you might wonder?

Well, the school is so welcoming to illegal immigrants that the "Presidents Undocumented Student Committee" is looking for "creative ideas" to help illegal immigrant students find paid internships.

An email leaked to the Centinal revealed that other public universities in Connecticut already do this very thing -- they set up grants, scholarships, fellowships and stipends to funnel money to illegal immigrants "in a way that doesn't mention 'employment' or require a social security number."

"Thank you for any suggestions you might have for helping our undocumented students find paid job opportunities," says the email to Career Development staffers.

You'd think that kind of request would be illegal and frowned upon, but this is Connecticut.

Here, public universities like Central Connecticut State proudly boast about all of the resources available to illegal immigrants, including qualifying for in-state tuition rates, right on the university website.

By the way, offering illegal immigrants in-state tuition rates is not unique to Central Connecticut State.

The "right" to qualify for in-state tuition at Connecticut's public universities was granted by the Connecticut General Assembly in 2015 with the passage of House Bill 6844, providing illegals meet a handful of requirements, including 2 years of high school attendance in the state, and a promise to file the paperwork to become a legal citizen.

Illegals also have access to the Connecticut Students for a Dream Scholarship, the New England Regional Student Program, the Dreamer’s Roadmap, Educators for Fair Consideration, Free Scholarship Search Engines, the PRSA Diversity Multicultural Scholarship, Employment BOOST College Scholarships and other scholarships.

Not a bad set of opportunities for people who broke the law to enter the country!

But that's only part of what Central Connecticut State offers to make illegal immigrants feel included.

The school also offers a host of academic and cultural support, legal help, community support and other resources to ensure the illegal crowd feels right at home.

Heck, the university established an "undocumented student support team" shortly after Donald Trump got elected in 2016, and established "best practices" for helping "undocu" students.

The Provost even plans on hosting a workshop, in collaboration with the President's Undocumented Resource Committee, on "Supporting Our Undocumented Students" on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The goal of the workshop is to "deepen your understanding" of the illegal immigrant student experience, raise awareness about the needs of students here illegally, and share strategies on how to provide "academic, social, and emotional support to help foster a more inclusive and collaborative environment" for illegals.

Yet another way Connecticut taxpayers are getting fleeced.
