As many of you are aware, there was an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally he was holding in Butler, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. The above photo, which has now become iconic, captures the exact spirit the former President and so many Americans have.
As the Secret Service jumped into action, Trump raises himself up, fist bumps Americans and shouts "Fight!"
There are so many media reports on this, we won't rehash all the incident details. However, we did want to offer some perspectives.
For years, mainstream media has dutifully played the part of the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. If this doesn't ring a bell, it should. World War II Germany had such an arm and was interestingly called the Ministry of Propaganda. This was perhaps the most important ministry in Germany at that time. Winning the minds and souls of its citizenry was the top of their priority list in 1930s Germany when Adolph Hitler came into power. He initially began his ascent by legitimate means and eventually become Chancellor.. His Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, was what we would call today a "spinmeister.." He took control of all statewide media, including print, radio and television. German citizens had no alternative but to get their "news" from state run media. This indoctrination affected all parts of German life from education to politics to military to marriage and everything in between. Goebbels had the unique ability of spinning everything to fit the agenda, even the bad, to make everything appear that the government was working for the people and that certain things had to be done. German citizens were led to believe that outside influences were the cause of some of their problems and that annexation of other countries was necessary for the greater good of the German state, eventually leading to WWII. The elimination of political parties and individuals became the norm. They buy in was complete and led to millions of deaths across Europe.
Information is a powerful tool and those that "control" it are not always doing it in the best interests of true journalism. Every media outlet "reports" according to orders they receive to sway citizens in their particular way of thinking. Unfortunately, journalistic ethics have long died along with honesty and transparency. So called "journalists" blatantly lie, mislead, omit and even encourage threats of harm to anyone who disagrees with them and the agenda they represent. Case in point, the attempt on Trump's life and the death of a patriotic supporter. There are many individuals on social media who boldly call out for harm and death to anyone who has not fallen for all the propaganda. While a free press is just to keep accountability and transparency, the media should give itself a really hard look in the mirror and decide whether they wish to employ a high degree of journalistic standards or become a mouthpiece for what the world calls "fake news." With few exceptions, the media has become a mockery and their rhetoric very dangerous. They should all be ashamed and apologize to the American people.
After some time, Joe Biden made a statement that the FBI would be leading the investigation into Trump's attempted assassination. This is the very same weaponized FBI and DOJ that has been persecuting Trump and other Americans for years. We just don't see an impartial investigation taking place, regardless of the reported outcome.
While the would be assassin is dead, a lot of questions need to be answered, especially from the Secret Service. The nearby rooftop across the field and in sight of the stage, was not secured by the Secret Service, an important protocol they failed to follow. There have also been reports of a ladder leaning against the structure giving access to the shooter, which the Secret Service also missed. Why wasn't President Trump whisked away from the stage and thrown into a Secret Service vehicle and driven away under their own protocols? It took a full two minutes to get him off the stage and the agents appeared confused and incompetent.
The Secret Service prides itself as an elite law enforcement and protection agency. This clearly is not the case. The agency's DEI program is not working. There were a lot mistakes made before, during and after the rally. Attendees had alerted Secret Service agents of a gun on the rooftop and the agents rebuffed those observations. Heads should be rolling at the Secret Service, including Director Kimberly A. Cheatle, who should either resign or be fired. Department of Homeland Security, (under which the Secret Service is a component), Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas should take ultimate responsibility and resign or immediate be impeached and convicted from his position. Mayorkas is the same Secretary who is keeping the southern border wide open.
Now, more than ever, is the time to rally around, support and endorse former President Donald Trump, who nearly lost his life in his attempt to drain the deep state and political swamp. ALL Republicans and GOP candidates, at all levels, need to publicly denounce this violence and endorse the presumptive GOP nominee.
The political left has violent tendencies and it's about time we face it head on and finally start holding our political leaders, media and their liberal allies accountable including prosecutions.
How about we put the 'fairy tale', holier-than-thou journalism reputation to bed. We fool ourselves.
News journalists have NEVER been unbiased or objective or accountable or transparent.
They just claim so - and not merely the Leftists
American newspapers since the nation's founding were essentially political propogandists.
And perhaps, it neither can be nor ought be any other way.
Each home must reclaim its sovereignty and its responsibility from the culture and from the State.
