The Nick Loeb Foundation is holding its third annual BBQ and pool party in Purchase, NY, to support local police officers and their families on August 24, 2023.
This year, the Foundation is fundraising for three $25,000 scholarships to help supplement the cost of college and expenses for the children of these first responders. Many of them don’t earn enough to send their children to upper-tier or out-of-state schools and don’t qualify for financial aid.
The Foundation believes every child should have the opportunity to attend any school they wish. Their focus will be on supporting local law enforcement families, particularly those who align with the foundation’s values, as they dedicate themselves to taking care of the community.
This year's special guests will be Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry.
Chef David Burke will be cooking for the Red Horse Restaurant at the BBQ party which features a variety of food and cocktail booths and even a pizza truck and an ice cream truck that children are sure to enjoy.
Fun and games include Dunk the Chief of Police, 100 ft water slides, a 250 foot zip line, a pool zip line, pony rides, a mechanical bull, a rock band, a police SCUBA simulation, and a police drone unit.
Tickets start at $250. Children are free.
If you buy the VIP Ticket, you get to play baseball with celebrity Mets and Yankees legends Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry.
