Barb Hargraves from the Guilford Human Rights Commission (GHRC) met Tony Ferraiolo, who is under fire after getting exposed in a video by Project Veritas, when they were on the planning committee for Guilford's Pride event.
She thought Tony had a fabulous idea for a program to launch in Guilford, so she invited Tony to join the GHRC on February 21, 2023, to tell the Commission all about the idea.
Tony explains how it's become "his" life's purpose to "guide trans youth and their families" through what can sometimes be a "terrible journey if they don't know who to go to" before pitching a program called "From Fear To Acceptance" which aims to normalize transgenderism.
Ferraiolo expressed alarm that states had started to ban the use of chemical and surgical mutilation procedures, aka "gender affirming care," for youth.
"I know that the people that are ... making these claims that it's unhealthy and that we're grooming and mutilating their bodies don't have any backing from medical associations," asserted Ferraiolo. "Every major medical association in the United States have put out [dis]claimers that say, you know, that this is medically necessary."
Then Ferraiolo, who has been "doing this work" for 17 years, adds a healthy dose of fear about counseling the "8-year-olds" who try to commit suicide if they are not immediately "affirmed" in a new gender identity.
Ferraiolo serves as the Director of the Youth and Family Program at Healthcare Advocates International ("HCAI") in Stratford, Connecticut, and has bragged about helping to trans "thousands of kids."
At the same time, Ferraiolo has dissed transgender individuals who are strongly opposed to transing children, going so far as to slam them because they aren't medical experts.
Then Ferraiolo claimed it is a misconception that children are too young to know if they are transgender, and moments later boasted about "training 27 schools" in Connecticut in 2022 and having another 15 on the schedule for 2023.
As the comments wrapped up, Ferraiolo wondered how inclusive Guilford schools were for children who believe they are transgender.
So... what exactly does the "transgender sensitivity training" look like?
Well, some concerned parents in Guilford had the foresight to file a Freedom of Information Act request to learn more about Ferraiolo's training that had been delivered to educators at Cox Elementary and Adams Middle Schools, which cost the school $2,000 in ARP ESSER III money.
The training was sponsored by HCAI's Youth & Family Program whose mission is to provide a "safe space" for LGBTQ+ youth so they can "walk their truth and authentically live the life they truly deserve" which, for most, if not all, transgender folks, includes becoming a medical patient for life.
Ferraiolo's training featured the "genderbread person" along with a lot of definitions about LGBTQ+ terms and alleged "misconceptions" about transgenderism.
Like, for instance, Ferraiolo asserts that one common misconception is that "transgender children are too young to know that they are transgender."
The training told educators to let gender confused children use whatever bathroom or locker room they want, to avoid using gender specific language, and not to just correct negative stereotypes about transgender people, but to actively challenge them.
Ferraiolo trained educators to keep secrets from parents, and scared them by saying they are inflicting harm upon students if they, for instance misgender a student or decline to use a student's pronouns.
Ferraiolo told Guilford educators to queer the library to make it inclusive.
Ferraiolo told educators to be a "supportive and affirming person" for gender dysphoric students, but not to approach the parents -- so, keep it a secret from those parents who might be concerned their child is joining a medical experiment.
The training appears to have had quite an impact on Guilford Schools, especially considering exactly how much transgenderism is promoted.
Students have been encouraged to "show their pride" and transgender pride flags have been hung in the windows of the high school.
Guilford Superintendent Paul Freeman even indicated he would be willing to having the school participate in the town's pride event -- which was sponsored by Ferraiolo's employer, HCAI -- "in some manner" in 2025.
You can see State Senator Christine Cohen joined the 2025 Pride event right alongside Barb Hargraves from the Guilford Human Rights Commission -- the woman who brought Ferraiolo in to pitch that transgender sensitivity training in the first place.
'Transing kids' is medical barbarity and should be outlawed.
ENOUGH is enough. most people deal with those who present un-NATURALLY; they/we have done so for decades. those that don't will NOT change their attitude just by schools being further degraded by taking even more time away from learning to have more queer 'sensitivity' rammed down their throats. i worked in nyc ['85-'02] and all genders, races... worked together smoothly. STOP the wasteful bs; they'll grow up; when they're old enough to buy a gun, drive, work...then they can live as they want
Gender dysphoria is a troubling mental condition riddled with lies, but it's evil when it is used to prey upon the young and vulnerable who are unable to comprehend what they are going through. Transitioners use young people as a way of validating their own condition to give society the idea that it is inherent, rather than learned through a variety of peer-related influences, social media, etc. Read Abigail Shrier's book "Irreversible Damage" for the truth about this pernicious movement and it
