    Just what we need.

More "equity and social justice" in the government.

This time, it's thanks to the "Office of Energy Justice and Equity" at the US Department of Energy ("DOE").

The Justice Week 2024 program is targeted to people who are "passionate about leading change toward a more equitable, clean, and just energy transition" and want to do the work, and join the conversation.

The picture on the email announcement says it all -- green energy including wind, solar, electric vehicles, along with intersectional social justice warriors with a fist up in the air.

The event takes place from October 22 - 24 in Washington DC, and also virtually.

The first day of the event, October 22, is recognized as Equity Day. The agenda will feature panel discussions and presentations that focus on DOE programming, like the Minority Business Enterprise Summit, the Faculty Applied Clean Energy Sciences Program, and DOE’s Equity Action Plan.

The second day, October 23, is Energy Justice Day, where participants will learn about the strategies, policies, and programs DOE relies on to advance equity and energy justice, such as the Justice40 Initiative and other Department-wide efforts that center community engagement and voices.

Participants will also learn about the actions taken by DOE to execute the Justice 40 Initiative, advance environmental justice, better understand energy insecurity, and implement community benefits plans.

The program wraps up on October 24, which is Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility ("DEIA") and Civil Rights Day. That's when participants learn about compliance with Civil Right laws and DEIA Executive Orders.

By the way, the Justice40 Initiative came about when Biden signed Executive Order 14008 to advance "environmental justice" for the sake of "climate change."

The Justice40 Initiative is about ensuring "equitable distribution" of the benefits for many Federal programs in addition to the DOE, including the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Health and Human Services, Labor, Transportation, Veterans Affairs, the Army Corps of Engineers, the EPA and more.

The Justice40 Initiative directs 40% of the overall benefits of certain Federal investments – including investments in clean energy and energy efficiency; clean transit; affordable and sustainable housing; training and workforce development; the remediation and reduction of legacy pollution; and the development of clean water infrastructure – to flow to disadvantaged communities (DACs) for the sake of equity.

Should Trump win in November, considering his stance on equity programs, and his desire to trim the fat in Washington through a "department of governmental efficiency" of sorts, this kind of program would probably get eliminated rather quickly.

So sick you never hear any push back from so called republicans on any of this absurd bull *&(*

    Paul A

The only way this stops is with a patriotic landslide. D’s and R’s mean nothing. We need Patriots. That’s how you defeat this inept direction.
